About
Welcome to Grimshore. Please mind the smell. You opened your very own hot dog shop, and the customers keep coming. There's just one small business problem: demand is high, and meat runs out fast. Luckily, the foggy little town of Grimshore has no shortage of raw material, if you're not too fussy about where it comes from. Meat Grinder is a first-person simulation with a rotten heart. Run an honest hot dog stand by day, take care of your supply chain by night, and try not to think too hard about the difference.
Grill the sausages, slice the buns, fry the potatoes, squirt the sauce, wrap it up, and hand it over with a smile. Keep customers happy, keep the money coming, and reinvest in your growing fast food empire. It's a cozy little cooking routine, right up until you run out of stock.
When the freezer runs dry, the beef carcasses can only cover so much. Grimshore's graveyard is quiet, the tools are cheap, and the meat grinder doesn't ask questions. Head out after dark, source some fresh ingredients, and get them back to the shop before opening time.
Behind the fog and the frying oil, Grimshore has stories it would rather keep buried. Take on side quests, meet the locals, follow the threads, and dig into your own character's past, whether or not you like what you find down there.
Lo-fi retro visuals, chunky textures, and a grimy nostalgic atmosphere give the whole town that unsettling old-school horror feel. Comfort food has never looked so uncomfortable.

If this were in early access, I'd give it a tentative recommendation pending updates, but this is a full release. This game has the potential to be excellent but it falls significantly short. There are some good bits - preparing the hot dogs and serving customers is nice. Some of the "sauces" you can make have very funny effects and the overall feel of running the hot dog restaurant is great. But there is so much that could be improved, from having to pick up each piece of trash separately to the whole story clocking in at just under 2 hours of playtime. There is also no real progression - you do fix equipment to unlock the ability to serve fries and drinks, but there is no restaurant customisation at all. You can't set prices, change the menu or do any of the things you might expect to find in a simulator game like this. The most fun part is the grave robbing, but the police make this annoying and it lacks the obvious option to cook the customers. The police are the only ones who seem to care about your illicit activities too as you can quite happily bring body parts into the restaurant in front of the customers and no one bats an eyelid. And to top it all, you can't save manually. If even one of these improvements finds its way into the game I might change my recommendation but, as it stands, it's a no from me.

很像香肠的大便居然不能夹在面包里面卖给顾客(失望)
My Fiancé bought me this game and I must say we were excited for it, we really like retro games with these types of graphics and the game seemed nice, this game isn't recommendable for a full release. The game is too short, there is no story at all, all you do is serve customers over and over again, the graveyard is very difficult with the police looking around like if you peek a tiny bit to check where they at, they already found you which was very frustrating. I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches only some items collapsing. Also the fact you can't put boxes on the shelves makes it difficult to move around the kitchen and the fact there's no trash bags or inventory slots it made it very annoying to clean the restaurant. There's some funny moments such as the toilet crap and the mixing ingredient effects. However the ending is absolutely horrendous like the moment the credits appeared I couldn't believe what we were seeing. I've never seen such a lack of effort and ideas from the developers. For what the price is $8.00 which is pricey for what it is. it has a endless mode but you will get bored of it within less than an hour. The cooking felt nice and smooth but other than that nothing special. Enjoyment 6/10.
It's got some potential that it fails to meet. The story starts off interesting only to fizzle out into a nothing burger towards the end with no real resolution, which took about two hours for me to reach and I feel was a such a cop out of an ending that it's made me write this review. The gameplay cycle, much like the story, starts off interesting but doesn't really expand itself as you progress: the grave digging aspect is actually somewhat of a bad move on the player as when I played, the majority of the meat gained from the corpses was rotten and thus I wasn't able to use it. And the more you do it, the more the police start patrolling around the graveyard, by the time I decided that maybe grave-robbing wasn't worth it, I had two officers patrolling the street and graveyard in a tight rotation that made it rather difficult to avoid being seen. So it becomes a high risk but low reward sort of situation. Then there's the sauces you can make, which so far I've only made one so I can't really talk much about it except for the fact the first one you unlock seems to get you more money from customers and has a chance of making them dance. But then there's the fact that the store page mentions being able to do side quests and explore the town. Exploring the town during the night shows that the town's pretty dead, the hot dog shop is the only building you can enter and the only people running around are the police looking for the rascal who's stealing corpses. So unless you're supposed to go exploring the town in the day, while you've got customers waiting on you, it doesn't seem like there's any real side quests during the night. Basically the game's story and gameplay loop is as shallow as a puddle and there's also the implication made out of nowhere that the main character suffers from schizophrenia but that's just used to justify the two creepy hallucinations you see, one midway through the game and one towards the end where it gives you vague as hell plot reveals. So as the game is right now. I don't think it's worth buying even for the low price of 6 pounds, should future updates add more stuff then I may change this review.
It's almost good, but it fails to meet the expectations by not having a lot to discover. By the time you get things to be interesting, it ends.
This is unfortunately one of those games that feels like it was released without any play testing from individuals outside of the development team. The story and gameplay starts off nicely and seems promising. Although, every time you unlock something new such as the "sauces" it's a huge let down and not what you were expecting. There's a lot of potential with the idea and items you unlock along the way, they just fall short. Not having an inventory, meaning you have to pick up every piece of trash (every single customer leaves trash) by your hand and put it in the singular trash can behind the counter in the kitchen is tedious. Sure, you can throw the trash but that gets old quickly and is still extremely repetitive. Another poor aspect of this game is the huge lack of a story mode. When you first hop into the game, you feel as though the story is going to progress well, but it suddenly just fades away and the next entry you get is at the very end when you're thrown the ending in a two minute experience and then the credits roll. On the other hand, there's not much of a simulator to it either. The gameplay loop is repetitive; get bodies, grind bodies, grind into hotdogs, cook hotdogs, serve. There's not enough content to be considered a simulator when other games that focus on this same kind of gameplay loop do it so much better. I originally thought this was somewhat of a horror story, but now I'm not to sure. There's only two moments that are "horror" throughout the entire story, and they last for a good ten seconds each, and I barely would call them horror as it's the exact same things you've been seeing. I really like the idea behind this game, but I feel as though it was just executed poorly. There's also a lack of "comedic" things you can do, unlike some hilarious moments you can have in other games of this nature. $8.00 isn't cheap for a game of this style, and for what you get out of it, I feel it's just not worth it. If there are some updates in the future or there's a large sale, then I say go for it! But until then, it's something I recommend passing on. I would say if you were someone such as a streamer who could play this game while talking and laughing with your chat, you may find a bit more enjoyment out of it.
看到大家都想把马桶里的香肠夹面包里,我就放心了
This could use a story expansion in the future it's pretty short. But for what it is, it's fun! Also you DON'T have to pick up the trash item by item, just buy a garbage bag lol.
