About
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.

amazing fantasy with hard fights
I like the overall vibe, the graphics, and—strange as it may seem—the gameplay. I think the game could use a few balance patches, though. If the developers keep working on it, it has a bright future.
Dark fantasy with a delightful pixel art style and fast-paced combat! It was well worth the investment of my time and money!

After completing most of what the game has to offer, I feel confident enough to write this brief review. Pros: Creating your own end-game boss: Allowing the player to help create their own monster to defeat during each run was a really cool concept. It made each run feel a little more personal and gave you some control over the challenge waiting at the end. D20 dice rolls: The D20 system adds an interesting dynamic layer to your choices. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it, which I’ll get into in the cons, but overall, I really like the idea. I believe there was also a recent update addressing some of the issues with the system, so hopefully it continues to improve. Item synergy and build composition: This is probably one of my favorite aspects of the game. The "auras" attached to armor and weapons encourage you to commit to specific builds. In one run, I created a basic crit build that could nearly one-shot bosses. In another, I went with a thorn build that essentially allowed enemies to take themselves out. The variety in builds makes experimenting with different combinations rewarding. Cons: Inventory: The inventory system sounded exciting in theory, but the execution misses the mark a bit. I think this could easily be improved by adding more 1x1 items. There were several times when I had random empty spaces in my inventory simply because I didn't have an item that could fit there. The worst one, in my experience, was trying to fit some of the swords. Some runs genuinely felt like an intense game of Tetris lol. That said, this could potentially become less of an issue as more items are added over time. Although, I think this is one of those mechanics you'll either really appreciate or absolutely hate xD. RNG: This is where the roguelite experience started to break down for me more often than it should have. For example, you're presented with three options, each requiring a certain dice roll to obtain. The frustrating part is that even if you choose the "safest" option and only need to roll a 4, you can still low-roll—which seems to happen pretty frequently—and end up with nothing. Dice rolls can be entertaining when they're used in a more controlled way. I'd much rather have a guaranteed option available, while allowing the player to take a risk for a potentially better reward. That gives the player more agency over the situation rather than feeling like a victim to it. When an entire run is determined by a bad roll and you weren't even given the opportunity to choose an alternative, it starts to feel like frustrating RNG rather than the result of poor decision-making. The excitement of a roguelite comes from how our choices determine whether we live or die during each run. The dice should add to that experience, not be the sole factor determining it. Repetitiveness: The story is pretty lackluster, and the same three stages begin to feel repetitive fairly quickly. There isn't much variation between runs outside of the last boss, so after a few attempts, you become very familiar with the enemies and how to navigate each stage. The enemy variety also feels limited, but that is another thing that can be fixed with time and updates. Overall, I say give it a shot if you're a huge fan of these types of games. I think I bought it for like $10. I spent more at a fast food joint lol. It isn't a terrible game, but it isn't some crazy hidden gem either. I'd give it 5/10 in its current state with plenty of room for growth.
great plot
Fun game!
For everyone saying that the game is bad: I honestly think a lot of that criticism comes from people getting frustrated because the RNG wasn't on their side. The game is a roguelike combined with gambling mechanics. You depend heavily on the items, upgrades, and other things you get during each run, which means you can end up with completely different builds every time you play. If you enjoy games where you have to adapt to chaotic RNG and make the best of what you're given, there's a lot to like here. At the moment, this is probably the first game I've seen where ArtDock has really nailed the core concept. I'd say the game is already in a pretty good state for a "Beta.", not ready as the current 1.1 Says. That said, the biggest problem right now is the lack of content. You start seeing the same enemies, mechanics, and situations repeated quite often. I really hope the developers add more content instead of making the main progression revolve around the same six bosses, depending on how you build your run. The game also needs more mechanics to make each run feel more unique. One thing I'd especially like to see is a way to expand your backpack. Adding an NPC that allows you to purchase or unlock additional backpack slots could create a lot more possibilities for weird and creative combinations. The randomness is one of the game's biggest strengths if you enjoy gambling-style mechanics, but it can also be its biggest weakness. Sometimes, the RNG genuinely feels like it decides whether you win or lose. However, I think part of the problem is that people simply don't know how to play around such chaotic RNG yet. You have to learn how to adapt to bad rolls instead of expecting every run to give you the perfect combination of items. Overall, I'd give it an **8/10**. If you like roguelikes such as *The Binding of Isaac*, *Slay the Spire*, or *Mewgenics*, and you enjoy the inventory-management aspect of games like *Escape from Tarkov*, I think you'll probably have a great time with this. It's basically a game about organizing your inventory, building around RNG, and praying that the dice are on your side. Fun as hell!
Super fun, lovely art. I like the character dynamics as well. Would love to see more locations to move through! Overall totally recommend :)
Apesar de ser um jogo curto, Tem um fator replay muito interessante. A história é bem simples mas cada personagem tem uma personalidade própria e muito forte Que envolve o jogador. Recomendo
