About
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.

Reviews
Schreibe idR keine Rezensionen.
Try warrior path! Maybe you like it, or no, idk

I went into Lootbound expecting a simple dungeon crawler, but what I got was a brilliantly layered tactical experience. The turn-based combat is tense and methodical—every move counts, and positioning, cooldowns, and dice rolls keep you on edge. What really hooks you, though, is the loot system: epic gear isn't just about bigger numbers; it changes how your entire party functions. Recruiting new allies mid-run feels meaningful, and their unique abilities force you to adapt on the fly. The dark fantasy atmosphere is thick with dread, and the procedural events add wonderful narrative spice. Yes, difficulty spikes can catch you off guard, but that's part of the charm—it never feels unfair, just punishing in a way that makes victory taste sweeter. If you're a fan of XCOM or Darkest Dungeon, this one will eat your weekends. Highly recommended.
I have my share of complaints, but the main one is that there are items you can get that disappear after 5 battles or so. I don't see any logical reason for doing something like this, especially if that item was also locked behind a high difficulty class dice roll. If it's for some sort of balancing reason, then just... make the item a little less powerful or something? Why make an equipment piece temporary? It feels so much less enticing to go after, and less rewarding than just having something permanent. And then you literally lose the reward. So what was the point? Otherwise the gameplay is fun. It's a bit challenging at the start, but it's still manageable to get at least decent progress before dying, in my experience. I imagine the permanent upgrades make this much, much easier. It's still early on, so the game will have its issues, but I still recommend it overall, IF... and this is a BIG IF... IF you don't mind having to roll a die for some of your loot and upgrades. Roguelikes and their RNG, sure, but the way this one is designed, you can chase the chests and the blacksmith gems and whatever else you want and just get... nothing. It never feels good to get nothing.
Really fun game with a great mix of loot, exploration, and progression. The gameplay feels satisfying, and there’s always something new to discover. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy this genre!
I absolutely love the core concept! The foundation of the game is incredibly strong. Like some other players have mentioned, I've noticed that RNG currently plays a massive role but game opens up quite a bit after completing your first run . It would be amazing to see a bit more room for player skill to shine through the randomness.
amazing game for not even 10 euros.
