I really liked this game, until I came to the Math chapter. It's just tedious and not fun
If you don't like Math find a friend who does and make them do the math puzzles for you.
I picked up this game because I loved playing A Little to the Left. I had seen the negative reviews, but figured I'd still enjoy the short experience. I did not! It really does feel like a cheap rip off. Some of the puzzles don't make sense and are just blindly placing pieces and hoping for a good result. Don't even get me started on the math level. The art style is diverse and fun, but that's not enough to give this a try.
There was potential, but I couldn't handle the problems. Very laggy at the start and continued no matter what I did. Some puzzles didn't accept the right answers (I checked hints just to be 100% sure), even resetting multiple times wouldn't fix it. The puzzles are pretty easy, but doing the same puzzles repeatedly without even getting the satisfaction of completing the puzzle to the game's standard is absolutely frustrating. Which is very disappointing because I was looking forward to a relaxing organizer game. Maybe if they patched the glitches in an update it could be worth it, but this has left such a sour experience I think I'll just pass.
good and fun! i love that each chapter has a unique art style. however the maths chapter is very difficult, so if you aren't good at maths i would use the user guide!
This game was kind of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the art style and music are very good, especially the food journal and medieval book. It was a pretty charming game. The story with the gnome boy was very cute. On the negative side, some of the controls are a bit finicky or unclear. The game is also pretty short, and most of the levels only have one way to solve them so there's not a ton of replayability. A lot of the negative reviews talk about the math puzzles. I didn't mind them but I also enjoy Sudoku, Ken Ken, etc. I do agree that they are somewhat different from the other puzzles in the game, both mechanically and visually. All in all, it's not a bad game, but it's not great. For the price, it's fine.
Completed in 2 days. It's a very cute tiny puzzle game, barring the last book which is all maths. Not a purchase I regret but I definitely wish there was more to play because it was fun!
