Little Chef: Cozy Cooking

To be honest, this is a really neat game. You combine whatever you find and see what you make out of that stuff. There are a lot of options and sometimes you get creative with all the foods and mistakes you make. The presentation is nice and the story behind it is neat. But if I'm being blunt, there is just not enough. You'd be surprised with how fast you can get through these recipes and the feeling is just short overall. Its a good game worth getting for the vibes but there really should more levels to make it all the worthwhile.

This game was fun but honestly for the price I wouldn't recommend it. Like other reviewers said, there's only 2 levels you'll finish them very fast...

It reminded me of the kind of browser game you'd play for like 10 minutes as a child and then forget about it instantly. Drag thing in pot, repeat.

I bought this game to support the artist Erika, as I was a fan of her YouTube channel hello erika for years. I usually find her content to be charming, and it can be felt in this game as well. The art is very cute and the gameplay concept is sweet. I did not experience any crashes nor issues with the gameplay. I hope that the experience ( and hopefully money ) gained from making this game will lead to other projects in the future. Regarding the game, as Erika wanted a constructive review, I have to say that I have never played a similar game before, so I may have misplayed it. To explain, I think the game was made to have a cozy feeling, but I instead went for achievement hunting and finished the content in about 2 hours. Even this was fun, but after doing so I felt that I have let myself down somehow, as I did not indulge in the art and vibe as much as I should have, after all this is why I like Erika. So, I am not sure if it is OK to suggest to make all of the achievements hidden, as it kind of was my fault that I messed up my own experience. I am still looking forward to future content regarding the game, and will try to be more patient while playing it next time. After having read some other reviews of the game, I do agree that some more content is needed, but I am also aware of the way that I have played the game, which may not be optimal for its purpose. What the game managed to do is make me more intrigued about Erika and what inspired her to make certain decisions, and made me go on another Youtube watching spree. Regarding game development, everything seems to be working smoothly, so good job to Julien as well. I do not see this game as a masterwork, but more of a stepping stone in both of their careers, so I am glad that it exist and wish them both a lot of success in the future. Also, the rats are super adorable!

To be honest, I was disappointed with the amount of content for this game in comparison to the price. It does seem like the creator is still making updates, but overall it's way too easy to figure out all of the recipes, and blow through the achievements. It is definitely cute and I can tell that a lot of effort went into the art and whatnot, but it's just not enough to justify the price point.

Very cute game, but also very short. 100% completion took me about hour and 10 ish minutes. For a game that recently enough came out, its well done. I didn't run into any bugs either which was nice. There is a lot of room for new content and secrets to be found
