This game is garbage. The video is low quality with bad depth of field that makes you want to throw up. The voice acting is cringy and the songs that your band plays are not great. Don't waste your time buying this game.

Kann mir einer mal erzählen warum hier Leute positiv geben? Dieses Spiel ist so mit das schlechteste Spiel was ich jemals gezockt habe und ich habe viel gezockt! Alle Videos sind in absolut schlecht aufgelöster 2D Grafik, nichts hat räumliche Tiefe. Dazu ein absolut lieblos aufgesetzes Mini-Spielchen, was ebenfalls in keinster Weise für VR angepasst wurde, sondern einfach fest auf dem Vive-Bildschirm sitzt und dazu auch noch unfassbar hässlich ist. Dazu kommt auch noch, dass das ganze Geld kostet, was absolut unverständlich ist. So einen Hardcore-Schrott habe ich selten erlebt und meiner Meinung nach sollte sowas von Steam entfernt werden! Guitar game with 360-degree videos for a rock band type experience. The idea is there and while the videos are the usual quality in VR that's the limitation of the headsets more than the game. It's indie so don't expect polish but it works although it can get monotonous using one controller to move a ball up and down while the other is just for clicking once one ball is over the other ball like Friday night at the local public toilets. Yes, that's Just up and down without any other movement like an unenthusiastic handjob, you're just kind of waiting for the end to come. It may just be me but the draw of Guitar hero was the posing with the guitar while you hit those colours. Here you're just trying to move your hand to hit the right little spot but often missing. The songs are ok but could get old real fast, miss a note and it silences the guitar for a note, although you can still kinda hear it. Have to be into these sort of games and really want one in VR for it to be more than just one play through. Still recommended for trying something a little different with the 360 Videos, acting and for having a go what will be hard to pull off in VR.

a VR game for 9,99 ?? C'mon people! Well, of course it's not on the same level as Guitar Hero is, but I really love the idea of using real videos in the game. Especially the cutscenes are funny. It looks authentic at least. I did not have any expectations when I bought this game, but now I'm actually finding myself enjoying it. so again..... for 9,99 ??? C'mon! Cheers

[h1] Experienced on Oculus Rift with Touch Contollers. No issues. [/h1] I just finished the game. It took me about 45 minutes to reach the end on normal. It's a music rhythm game with a 360 video story and setting. I enjoyed playing the game. I love music rhythm games from Rockband to Guitar Hero to Rocksmith to Drums Hero VR to Airtone to Soundboxing. This game actually feels like the new Guitar Hero Live, just missing the guitar peripheral. You're on stage performing in front of the crowd. It just makes it feel that much more immersive than computer generated graphics. However, keep in mind the 360 video is of average quality. Don't expect 4K quality, think SD quality 3D. You play the "guitar" by using your left hand motion controller to move the note to be played vertically. You use the thumbstick of your right Touch controller and press down to "strum" or play the note. My tracking was fine. I played seated with 2 front senors without any issues (I do have 3 sensors, but don't always setup roomscale). At first I thought it was an odd choice to use clicking on the thumbstick versus using the trigger button. But once the notes got really fast on the last song, I understood why it's better to use the thumbstick. Although, using "A" button on the Touch controller would have probably been the best choice. The only minor issue is that grip recenters view and it can be very easy to accidentally press grip. You have 3 different venues to play in: practice, club, and a festival. I think each venue had 3 songs if I'm not mistaken. And you follow the band on their journey. You're a new member trying out. It was not the best acting, but I enjoyed the cheesy story. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. Felt like my dream at least which will never happen because I'm not musically talented enough. But it's fun and adds to the immersion. I had never heard of this band. But I liked all their songs. I was surprised so this game is very good marketing for them. Oh, and, of course, Heavy metal rulz. And you know there's nothing like seeing a couple of hot chicks up front cheering you on. But in case you're wondering, there was no groupie backstage video scene in this game :/ I only played the game on normal. But the notes corresponded well to the beat and to the note. Obviously, the lack of peripherals holds the game back from getting truly immersed. This game needs a plastic guitar. But for using motion controllers in this way, it was alright. Not sure how it can be improved. I do recommend this game. I think it's worth it just for the music and 360 videos. The fact that the gameplay is good considering you're using motion controllers is just the cherry on top. Rate 7/10. Note: I received game free from the developer to test out game for Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. I don't know the dev, I only got this offer because I commented on the forums about whether this game was Oculus compatible. I did not receive anything else for reviewing this game and had no pressure to vote positively or negatively on my review.

I liked the game. It was great experience how to become a rockstar.I really felt like being there and playing on a festival stage. :)

for 10 bucks this isn't a rhythm based game this is an actual more realistic Guitar Hero

Game very good. It's a good idea to play this game, and for a cheap price. I'm sure it's taken a lot of work to make this game. I've played practically all guitar games, and I really enjoyed that game.

Quite nice idea (ah ok there was guitar hero) but quality of the game lacks (UI, gameplay,...) Maybe next time.
