Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Jul 30 → 16.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Two young friends, lost in a frightening world not made for children.
If they cannot find a way out of this Nowhere place, they’ll be condemned to a fate worse than death.

You play as Low and Alone, best friends ever since they found each other in this lonely nightmare. They each possess their own iconic item: a bow for Low and a wrench for Alone. Working together, they’ve become adept at sneaking through hidden passages, hoisting each other over massive obstacles, and watching each other’s backs. Whether you’re playing with a friend or an A.I. companion, you’ll depend on each other's iconic items to create opportunities and to progress. The environment is full of clues and possibilities for imaginative children to exploit. Low’s arrows can reach high targets, cut through ropes, or down flying enemies, and Alone’s wrench is just the thing for crushing stunned enemies, smashing through barriers, or manipulating the workings of massive machines.

No matter where you go, the Nowhere is home to horrific monsters. These Residents won't hesitate to go out of their way to capture any intrusive little Visitors that draw their attention. You might find yourself playing a terrifying game of hide and seek with Monster Baby in the sandy ruins of the Necropolis, struggling to avoid swarms of voracious Candy Weevils in an unsetlling Candy Factory, or dodging heavy feet while running along the rain-soaked promenade of a filthy funfair. You'll need to be ready to run, hide, or even defend yourself at a moment's notice to stay in one piece.

Don’t be too distracted by the desolate beauty of the Nowhere. There are dark mysteries waiting for you as Low and Alone follow their mirror path across the Spiral. As each new location will become more dangerous and disturbing than the last, traumatic flashes from the past will begin to emerge. Will Low and Alone finally escape from this unending nightmare?
Only you can help them, little ones...

I'm glad Supermassive Games is continuing this franchise. While I don't think Little Nightmares III reaches the heights of Tarsier's games it still delivers a beautiful world, an intriguing story and some genuinely memorable moments. It isn't without its flaws but I think Supermassive is heading in the right direction. The visuals are absolutely stunning. I'd honestly say they're the best in the series. Carnevale looked beautiful, the Necropolis with the giant baby was really cool and the overall art direction is still one of the strongest parts of Little Nightmares 3 alongside the other monster designs. The atmosphere is still there and I love how mysterious and dark the world of the Nowhere continues to be. However, the horror just didn't hit the same for me. LN2 constantly had moments that genuinely shocked or terrified me while LN3 focused much more on puzzles and walking from one area to another. It was tense at times but it never really had the same "scare" factor as LN2. The monster designs in LN3 were cool though. One thing I really love though is the story. Just like the previous games it doesn't explain everything to you. Instead it leaves small visual hints and mysteries that make you come up with your own theories. That's exactly what got me obsessed with this franchise in the first place. After finishing this game I only became even more interested in the lore surrounding the Nowhere and the real world. Unfortunately I do think the main game falls short in a few areas compared to Tarsier's games. The soundtrack is still good but it didn't feel nearly as well integrated into the gameplay. In LN2 the music elevated almost every major moment. Here it sometimes felt more like background music than something that became part of the experience. My biggest personal criticism has to be the puzzles. Quite a few of them felt unclear and there were multiple occasions where my friend and I got stuck because the way forward just wasn't obvious. That happened several times throughout the game. The AI companion could also be really frustrating. There were multiple times where it got stuck on the environment, stopped following me altogether or simply died by danger. On a few occasions the only way to fix it was by resetting to the last checkpoint just to get the character back to me again. It didn't happen constantly but when it did it became very annoying and took me out of the experience. Ironically almost all of these issues were improved in the Backstage DLC. The puzzles felt much better designed, the pacing was stronger and overall it gave me much more confidence in Supermassive's future with this franchise. If you're a long time Little Nightmares fan I absolutely recommend playing this game especially if you're invested in the lore. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to someone looking purely for horror but if you enjoy dark worlds, environmental storytelling and making your own theories there's still a lot to love here. I finished the main game and the Backstage DLC in around 13 hours. I bought them during a 50% sale and for that price I definitely felt I got my money's worth. At full price, though, I can understand people waiting for a sale due to the various issues, especially the bugs. Overall I don't think Little Nightmares III reaches the heights of Little Nightmares I or II. Even so, I'm genuinely excited for where this series is heading. Supermassive has shown they're listening to feedback and if future DLCs are anything like Backstage I have a lot of confidence in this franchise. ⚠️ SPOILERS & MY THEORIES ⚠️ Now that Little Nightmares III has expanded the lore so much I thought I'd share some of my theories. Most involve the rest of the franchise since everything is connected. One of my favourite reveals was realising that the Nowhere isn't just a dream. I think it's another dimension where people can physically end up after being taken by the Ferryman, with children seeming to be the easiest targets. The Sounds of Nightmares already pointed me in that direction, but LN3 only reinforced that idea. The more I learned about the real world, the Ferryman and the Nowhere, the more obsessed I became with this franchise. I don't think the Ferryman forces children into the Nowhere. Instead, he seems to wait until they're vulnerable enough to willingly take his hand, offering them an escape from the lives they're trying to leave behind, even if that escape leads somewhere far worse. I also genuinely think the Hypnotist is Otto. He started out trying to find his sister, Cici, but over time I think that search slowly became an obsession with the Nowhere itself. Speaking of Cici, I actually think she's the girl the Puppeteer was grooming in the Backstage DLC. Her hairstyle, her overall appearance and what looks like the yellow raincoat hanging backstage all feel far too deliberate to ignore. If that's really her, I think she escapes the Carnevale before eventually becoming the girl from Very Little Nightmares. But, what exactly is Alone's true origin and what really happened to her at the end of LN3? I hope Supermassive answers that in their second DLC I genuinely hope Supermassive continues making DLCs and new Little Nightmares games. I can't wait to see where the series goes next.
Dogwater game go play Reanimal instead
the game sucks
This review is for Little Nightmares 3 Backstage DLC but since I tried to play it with friend's pass I can't make an actual review on steam in its on page. Would absolutely not recommend Backrooms. We tried to play it in co-op but got stuck in a point early in the game where one player was supposed to hoist the other to reach a lever. We tried every single thing (keyboard, controller, different keys and buttons and combos, remapping of keys/buttons etc.) but nothing could make us able to hoist the other up and thus we were unable to play this DLC. I'm glad my friend managed to play through the DLC on her own, but it is very disappointing that a co-op game isn't possible to be played co-op because of control bugs. It appears also that our problem isn't wide-spread though because the only similar issue I could find information online about was the "trap door glitch" which was essentially the same problem but in a different part of the game. Unfortunately we were unable to work through our bug with the same solutions as with that other place. We also were unable to switch characters in trying to solve the issue.
这个游戏实在太烂了,过程全程跑图,剧情稀碎无聊,毫无乐趣可言
As someone who played Little Nightmares I and II, I actually really enjoyed this game. It came out in October last year, I looked at the price and said heck naw. I can understand having fomo or being really eager to start playing once it released, but I don't see the issue with waiting until a sale. Im so goated as this game that any bug my friend and I came across we'd figure something out. Jkjk, but even almost a year after there are still a few glitches in the game. I won't drag LN3 through the dirt as it's definitely fixable on your own. I get why there was frustration when LN3 released and ppl had to suffer through glitches, but lwk I feel like that's any horror game experience like for e.g Fnaf Security breach. And like.. why we complaining abt the story not being related to LN1 or LN2 when a quick google search could reveal that info b4 you even start playing. Seems like hate is forced. Would def recommend buying this game, just make sure you got a friend that'll co-op w/ you. :)
nao é nem de perto tao bom quanto os outro especialmente o segundo mas ainda sim é um bom jogo da pra se divertir jogando com um amigo e ainda tem a essência do little nightmares ent ta valendo
