About
A 1-3 co-op puzzle horror game. Lost in an accursed megastore, work together to find the exit before its lurking horrors trap you forever.
Storebound will be built around several episodes that form a bigger story.
The game currently includes Episodes 1 to 4, representing an average game time of 3-4 hours, depending on the difficulty you select and on how quickly you solve the puzzles. Additional free episodes will expand the overall playtime as new content is added throughout Early Access.
Team up to escape a store that wants you to shop forever. Teamwork and quick thinking are your only tools for survival.
Search the mall for items and gather clues, using proximity voice chat to piece together the path to your next destination.
Split up and use walkie-talkies to keep contact. Whether you’re calling out code sequences from across the department or guiding a friend through a maze, solving the megastore’s twisted logic is the only way out.
When the lights go out, the Store is on the look out for shoppers who need "assistance". Cut communications to stay silent, or risk getting caught.
Hide in vents, progress without making noise, use flashlights to fight the darkness but be careful as the batteries are limited.
Avoid the mall's traps and aberrations, they will gnaw at your mind until you can't trust what you see or do.
Every error might lead the store's staff straight to you. Find fuses to turn the lights back on, buying your team a few precious minutes of safety.
Just remember: in a place built for consumption, the final price is always you.
Proximity Voice Chat: Hear the screams of your friends echoing from a different aisle.
Liminal Store: Experience horror in a shopping complex caught between dream and nightmare.
Walkie-Talkie: Use long-distance communication, beware of who might be listening.
Sanity System: The mall gets into your head. Lose control, and you may turn against your friends.
Immersive 3D Audio: Enjoy the unnerving noises breaking the silence of this not-so-empty store.
Replayability: Randomized item and obstacle placement, plus multiple difficulty challenges.
Health Notice: Storebound features intense flashing lights and visual sequences. If you are sensitive to strobe effects or prone to photosensitive seizures, please play with caution.

игра классная, благодаря нее узнала, что из троих друзей мозг работает только у одного
To preface this review, I am not placing any spoilers inside of this. It will just be an honest review of my experience and why I really enjoyed this game. To begin with, in the new age of horror it is very difficult to find a worthwhile game that has good gameplay, story, runs well, and has an interesting hook to it. Storebound succeeds at each of these in it's own way. The gameplay for this may seem basic from the outside, but the puzzles are so much fun. There were quite a few times where me and my buddies were stuck at certain sections for an extra couple of minutes, and then one of us would come up with the most insane solution and it'd be correct. There's no "combat" per say, but the gameplay really spices it up alongside it's beautiful visuals the further you get into the game. Story is where I'd say Storebound excels in, like most horrors of the same genre. You uncover the story in a nonlinear fashion and can find extra lore hidden within each of the levels. I had an absolute blast piecing together character names, theories, and more as we completed each of the Episodes in this game. The game is separated into "Episodes" where you will discover this unique store from many points of view. Each one feels very unique and I never felt like I was playing the same characters even though I was the same person. The game runs pretty well! I had some issues on the last level, but we were also playing on the playtest versions of the final story (mainly due to scheduling conflicts) so I can understand how my performance was likely not optimal. We ran the full game again all the way through when the two last episodes dropped and all of the episodes before the playtest ones ran perfectly. The hook of the game is very fun. Just reading the description gets you in the mindset of this horrific liminal horror space that evolves into various genres of horror before the end. For my personal experience, I got to play with two friends for every level, and this is definitely how you should attempt to play this game as well. There is a solo mode, but it is such a unique game and having two friends along for the whole ride is really worth it. Overall, good game! I hope I get to see more from this creator in the future.
出色的多人恐怖游戏,不过后面的关卡几乎不怎么恐怖,更多的是“高强度合作解密”,整体通关时间在3-5小时左右,看默契程度。还行
It's fun, and I'm glad I bought it and can play the updates with my friends, but I feel like at this point the game has kinda became not really what I thought it would be. A lot of the mechanics are kinda meh, the base power items are worth it sometimes but largely feel like leftovers of another game. Perks remain pretty simple. No customization, no real replay value, the points system doesn't really do anything of purpose The story also just kinda is whatever. Episode 3 is so barebones as well, theres like nothing to do in it of real substance and all the effort clearly went into Episode 4.
Design is cool, but the game itself has no real direction, no clear instructions and gameplay generally is boring. I don't know how this game can improve when the foundation is this flawed

Das Game ist voll UNTERbewertet, es macht richtig spaß! Atmosphäre und Story 10/10 mit Freunden 100/10
An unfortunately disappointing package after such a promising start. After Episode 2, every player build felt interchangeable, and the puzzles got significantly more tedious starting with Episode 5. The presentation can be pretty fun at times, but there's no real substance to speak of
This is one of THE worst game's I have played in my life, the store is complete TRASH. It's just the same boring loop. The UI felt like a mobile-game, All these people who say that this game is good are probably just bots. Just so you know this is the most un-scary game I have ever played. ( No hard feeling's against any of the creator's but this is like the top of top friend-slop ) ( This will never be like Lethal Company, just so you know )
Run around for hours until you find stuff to progress simulator, unless you are jobless, don't buy
