this is sad but very amazing and good
Little girl on earth is asking why she asking why is a small visual novel with about the playtime of around 30 minutes. Even thought ive never heard of this game before and only found it on steam through aciddent i think its one of those very beautiful and kinda psychological small indie games that gets you to think and philosophy. Definitely deserves more attention but from the right crowd. I deeply liked the game but could also see others struggling to connect with the story :(
太短了,作为氛围作也没法酝酿出太多氛围。 优点是画的很可爱。 翻译质量,呃。我不想说的太失礼,开场看见一个“中国人”我就没绷住。 有能力的话建议吃en
Cute little depressing game
The worst thing about this game is that most people won't be able to understand it.

шикарная игра, но для меня слишком короткая.
a nice short interaction with "a little girl on the beach" or perhaps this was all a conjuration of your own mind…? questions… questions… questions… how… what… why…? who really knows…! it's up to one to interpret after all! a quick delightful exchange with inquisitive value that lies beyond itself… …or at least it seems that way! …to me at least :>
ta bien
Not as deep as it wants to be - or at least it doesn't have the time to. Would have benefitted a lot from more time in the writing phase, and doing more with less words. I love the presentation, and exploring how videogame characters feel both when they leave the bounds of reality and when they are operating the same routine (and what of that can translate to the human condition) is cool and all, but it seriously lacks the time and pacing needed to properly explore any part of that beyond surface level. I know the themes I mentioned are not the only ones, those are just the ones I thought weren't immediately obvious. But yeah, my main criticism is that it needs to pace itself better, but probably not with more of the same. Introduce one theme at a time, while giving the player time to reflect on it. Don't overplay the "existence is scary" card too much, that gets repetitive really fast, and the game is not short enough to end before that. Umi is also way too insightful to be believable. The bad ending is chosen with a dialogue choice that sounds innocent enough at first (the player could have just forgotten an important part of the story) but the player character takes an uncharacteristic turn for the monstrous, which will surprise anyone who didn't predict it was meant as a way of being cruel to her. I like what LGoEAWSAW has in concept, and I like the style, but again, it needed some more time in the drawing board. I will be checking out future work by this developer to see if it improves.
