Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Excellent
Still better than the first two games despite a mostly nonsensical story and basically being a glorified asset flip. Hell, even half the OST is from the first two games. They finally did something interesting with the new ATB skin in this one, and while I don't like the central timer mechanic, it was definitely interesting as a mechanic. Wasn't a fan though that this game was clearly made with using the strategy guide in mind (thank you gameFAQS for letting me skip that part). Honestly I wouldn't even call this game bad, just like the other FF13 games, not really worth playing unless you like Lightning like I do. Though I say this despite 13-2 barely having her in it and finding this to be a worse trilogy than the Star Wars Prequels. Just play FF7 remake (and rebirth) instead nowadays, similar game with less frustating mechanics, although I do respect how open they made Lightning returns. That was cool. Too bad the Chocobo Eater and Earth Eater exist though.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lightning dress-up simulator... But seriously a good send-off for the FF13 trilogy imo. Is it a bit sloppy? Sure. Did it need to be a trilogy? Not really. But I absolutely adore these melodramatic characters, and seeing the end of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of events that led up to this title was satisfying, to say the least. Soundtrack: Not as good as the previous games, but still had some bangers here and there, including the throwback tracks to the previous games. Story: I'm not the best at analysing stories, but I followed along decently well, and by the end, a lot of it made somewhat sense. Like I said, the conclusion was satisfying enough. Gameplay: The gameplay was... interesting. You're mainly running around completing quests whilst on a time limit before the "end of days" (think Majora's Mask). I didn't fully explore all the side quests, I just opted for a handful of the easy ones that I could do whilst completing the main quests to progress to the end of the story. Honestly, you can get by just completing the Chocolina wishes, you just run around eliminating monsters and exchanging their drops for XP. Which made me a bit sad, a part of me loves the mind numbing grinding of killing monsters to level up, but they tried something different and it's commendable. Overall, a lot of running around and exploring, so if that's your jam, you'll get along with that. Mechanics: Honestly, I approach these games like a Neanderthal, so I just went for whatever had the highest stats and had a large range of different attacks for different monsters (they have certain vulnerabilities and resistances). There's a parry system too which is pretty neat, but I didn't really engage with it too much, I found it easy to just mash attacks to victory. I much prefer the previous two games' battle systems, but this one is still fun in a different way. Overall: A good send-off for these characters and world, and a decently fun experience. Performance is poor, but hey! It's an old PS3 game, what do you expect? If you're already at the point of getting this game after playing the last two, then go for it. It's not terrible, but not the GOAT either. Would recommend (despite how scathing this review is).
This is easily one of the worst games and biggest letdowns I have ever had the misfortune of playing. After all the improvements they made in 13-2, here they just threw them all away. Biggest possible gripes are as follows: A constant timer like in Dead Rising IN A FINAL FANTASY GAME, y'know? The type of game you usually wanna take your time in and enjoy exploring the world? Nah, who needs that? Just straight-up run everywhere and rush through side quests so you won't miss anything. Whoever was in charge of that decision must have been on something. YOU CANNOT EVEN PROGRESS THE MAIN STORY PROPERLY BECAUSE THERE WILL BE TIMES WHERE YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT OR GO TO AN INN. No leveling system. Instead, you gain stat increases by doing side quests, which sucks for people who just wanna do the main story. The battle system, which you spend two entire games getting used to, was thrown away completely. What's even worse is that the game before ended on a huge cliffhanger, so you are essentially forced to play this game unless you want your very last memory of the FF13 storyline to be a bad one. I despise this game so much, it's unreal, and yet I will probably be forced to beat it. F this game. 0/10
