Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Imagine you’re playing a casual game, but you’re only given a few days before the world ends. When the world ends, it’s game over. That’s an AMAZING concept. Also, I think Lightning is the MOST BEAUTIFUL female character in the Final Fantasy series—OOPS. Sorry, Tifa fans.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this games fun tbh i like it so far
Somehow, Lightning has Returned
So....it took me, what? 13 years to actually play and beat Lightning Returns? I pre-ordered it back in the day for the Xbox 360, but found myself giving up in frustration because constantly watching the clock made the game feel more stressful than fun. Now that I've returned in 2026....there are plenty of guides to reference and guide me. Tip for new players: SPAM CHRONOSTASIS!!! Lightning Returns is VERY different from its predecessors, if you already can't tell, and while it's a welcome break from the gameplay loop that quickly got old in XIII and XIII-2, the Schema system featured in the final XIII entry comes with its own set of irritations and can take a minute to get used to. You're also fairly limited at the beginning of the game in terms of setup, though fortunately the PC version comes with DLC garbs that you can basically coast on until you hit the last day. It's irritating though that you can basically brute force your way through most battles until the hidden dungeon and final boss, where you have to actually invest in your abilities and strategies. The biggest selling point of Lightning Returns is Lightning herself (shocker, I know!). After spending most of XIII sharing the spotlight with the rest of the cast and being largely absent from XIII-2, it was nice to see her finally take center stage and get a proper conclusion to her story. As for the overarching story's end.....I have mixed feelings. There are a few decisions I'm still not sure how I feel about. That said, seeing the original cast reunited after everything they'd been through definitely got me a little teary-eyed; it felt like a homecoming of sorts. If you've come this far in the XIII trilogy, you need to play this final installment. Even with my reservations, I think it's a solid conclusion to Lightning's journey and the XIII trilogy as a whole. These games deserve far more love than they get.
