Life is Strange: True Colors

First of all, the biggest issue I've got with this game is the fact that it crashes A LOT, specially during chapter 4 I couldn't move to chapter 5 because of how it would crash due to Unreal Engine all the time and even before that (I managed to move to chapter 5 after verifying the integrity of the game files, though I doubt this fixes it on the long term) I got gifted this game by my friend (otherwise I'd have bought it myself one day or the other), and this game is amazing, the graphics and scenery were really good, and Alex is a deeply well written character, also Steph appearance hello ?? Anyways, it felt very different than LIS and LIS2 but at the same time it still had that LIS feeling to it, I definitely enjoyed the story this game told and the way it was told, the scene with the city council was amazing and beautiful and also very emotional I loved it the most, together with the LARPing which was very fun too !! Overall great game only downside are the constant crashes due to Unreal Engine (I know the game is old but PLEASE fix this issue it's very annoying specially when you repeat one same scene over and over for nothing because your game crashes and shuts down)

too expensive. lack of content. Spent only 13 hours to the end of this game. Disappointed after I played Life strange 1 and 2. I don't recommend this version of game to anyone.

I have the opposite critique I had for 2, where, to me, that dragged in places, True Colors feels VERY short and only very few times, rushed. Still, I love Alex as a protagonist, her empathic powers are a fun thing for story and puzzles, and the small town is fun and allows you to get to know characters! I loved it! Also, fan favorite, Steph Gingrich, who people who played Before the Storm met briefly is a fun extra character that definitely proves why we love her! Also, the Wavelengths DLC, is a short little focused DLC on Steph. It's a cute look into her character and how she started her job in the base game of True Colors and even gives small context on what happened based on what ending you chose for 1(not anything HUGE, but it's nice to acknowledge) I definitely recommend the game!

Life Is Strange: True Colors tells the story of Alex Chen, a young woman with the ability to feel and absorb other people’s emotions, as she tries to start a new life in a small Colorado town after leaving a group home. But when a tragic accident involving her brother occurs, Alex is drawn into uncovering a truth that the town would rather keep hidden. Story: Like previous installments, the game is split into five chapters. The first chapter feels rushed—you don’t get enough time to connect with Alex’s brother before his death, which weakens the emotional impact. The middle chapters slow down quite a bit as you get to know the town and its people, sometimes to the point where it drags (the LARP section in Chapter 3 feels especially long). The final chapters improve the pacing, and Chapter 5 delivers a solid twist and a satisfying ending. Characters: The cast is well-developed, and Alex’s empathic powers allow for some genuinely touching moments—especially scenes dealing with grief, loneliness, and dementia. These quieter interactions often hit harder than the main plot. However, the romance options are very obvious from the start, leaving little room for surprise. Power: Empathy is less flashy than the past abilities from LIS 1 and 2; like time manipulation or telekinesis, but it’s maybe one of the most emotionally grounded powers in the series. It fits the story well, even if it feels less impactful from a gameplay perspective. Overall: At around 10 hours, the game is relatively short and less action-driven. Choices can sometimes feel less impactful than in earlier titles, but the story remains heartfelt, with strong character moments and a good final twist. It’s a more personal, slower-paced entry that still manages to leave a lasting impression.

Replaying this game reminded me what a masterpiece it is. Haven is the embodiment of a perfect place visually but with a dark secret. And boy, does it get dark. I love the attention to detail in this game. The music stands out too as some of the best in the franchise. The voice acting and mo-cap is out of this world. The story had such a huge impact on me. Wavelengths DLC deserves a place in the hall of fame of DLC's. It was such an amazing experience and brought me so much joy, especially as someone who read the book about Steph and Drugstore Makeup/Izzie.

Es... bueno?, pues que puedo decir, a mi parecer el mejor life is strange sigue siendo el 2, este no esta mal pero a comparación con el 1, el 2 e incluso el before de storm este no llega a ser demasiado bueno, además de que esta demasiado corto el juego, yo normalmente me tomo demasiado mi tiempo e incluso muchas veces simplemente casi haciendo nada en el juego y aun así lo termine en casi la mitad de horas que las entregas anteriores, la historia esta bien pero creo que se hubiera podido realizar de una mejor manera, aunque bueno algo que si me termino de gustar fue el poder de la protagonista se me hizo bastante interesante, de igual forma en general el juego siento que esta bastante caro a lo que ofrece ( Supongo que es principalmente por los gráficos) ya que el 1 es muchísimo mas barato y ofrece mucho mejor contenido. 6/10 comprenlo mejor cuando este en oferta si les interesa
