If you've enjoyed the previous Life is Strange games, you'll feel right at home here. [b]True Colors[/b] keeps what made the series great: a well-written story, lots of little things to explore, and characters that actually feel like people. Alex is a great new protagonist, and it's easy to get invested in her journey. One thing the game does especially well is making you understand the people around you. Some characters act in ways that seem strange or even irrational at first, but that's kind of the point. Real people aren't always predictable, and the game does a great job showing that everyone carries thoughts and emotions you don't immediately see. It's not a game about action, but about people. And it tells that story really well.

5/10 Conditional recommendation Pros: -Works great on Steamdeck. No issues whatsoever. -Gorgeous graphics. -The gameplay is very straightforward and provides little barrier to entry. -The plot has some satisfying moments. -There’s some replayability, if you’re interested enough to go back and play again. Cons: -The gameplay provides little challenges at all. This isn’t a video game, but more of an interactive story. -While there is replayability, I really don’t feel compelled to go back and see how to other choices turn out, especially as it doesn’t really change the ending. -I found myself annoyed with how some of the characters were reacting to the events of the game. I understand this is a work of fiction with magic powers, but for an exploration of grief and emotions, this misses the mark. -If you miss a few small details, the game has plot-holes. But also, the game holds your hand in other spots and takes away your critical thinking in progressing the plot. There is no happy medium. In Summary: Every dollar you spend on a game should be at least 1 hour of entertainment. I would really only recommend getting this game if it was on sale. Otherwise I don’t think it’s worth it. I know I won’t be playing it again.

Алекс уже была у психотерапевта, да и сама отлично справляется с данной ролью. если без шуток, то это для меня лучшая часть. тут есть Хеппи Энд!!! Музыка, эмоции, история - всё завораживает. и я с гордостью заявляю, что это первая часть ЛиС, где я хочу платину. где я стремлюсь к ней. где я хочу перепройти на разные варианты, посмотреть иную историю. вау. АПДЕЙТ! ЙЕС! платина моя, но я ещё не всё потрогала, так что... время зафигачить всё!!!

Life is Strange: True Colors is a game I really wanted to like. I expected something closer to Life is Strange 1 or 2 in terms of story, but sadly, it ended up being a pretty big disappointment for me. The game is extremely slow. The dialogue is not badly written on its own, but everyone reacts and talks so slowly that it almost feels like watching real life at 0.5x speed. It also feels very anticlimactic. In the first three episodes, barely anything happens in the main story outside of a few moments, and the game keeps pulling you into filler subplots instead. Some of them were interesting, but others really did nothing for me, and episode 3 especially felt like one huge filler section. The worst part is that every time I wanted the main story to finally move forward, the game kept getting in its own way. Right when episode 4 was ending and it felt like things were finally about to kick off, episode 5 suddenly throws you into flashbacks and takes you somewhere completely different. That section takes up what feels like most of the final episode, and by that point I had already lost most of my interest. I just wanted it to end. The superpower also feels underused. It does not really add much mechanically, which is a shame because that should have been one of the most interesting parts of the game. The graphics are nice, the voice acting is good, and the rest is pretty much classic Life is Strange. Sadly, the most important part, the story, is where the game really struggles. 5/10 - A bit average and forgettable.

Me ha tocado en lo más profundo de mis sentimientos, no hay decisiones malas o buenas, solo decisiones y consecuencias, termine adorando a todos los personajes a mi modo, y por supuesto que mi hermano Gabe me duele desde principio a fin. Soy literalmente Alex Chen, pixel por pixel, 10/10 Si te gustan los juegos de historia y decisiones, compralo, no te va a decepcionar.
