LiEat

Lieat is a game of the rpg maker type(if you are not familiar. You might have heard of omori, ib, witch's house and the bunch. Basically, games that allow you to move up down left right that otherwise have dark stories.). The story follows theobald leonhart, a con artist with a mysterious past and his "adoptive daughter" Efina, a lie eating dragon who as the description implies; can sense and eat lies. The game takes you through their adventures unraveling mysteries from town to town and even hotels that even involve their own pasts. Firstly, It may not sound much for some but it is made by Miwashiba, an otherwise used to be famous vocaloid music artist who also created 1bitheart and alicemare, which does give it a bit more basis and originality to stand on. Secondly, the artstyle it has and the way the story is handled i personally believe is masterclass. It's not a big game by any means and for its price if you have leftover i would definitely suggest it for a day's enjoyment. it has a lighter tone at fast but much like its brothers Alicemare and 1bitheart, should you delve down the wrong/dark path, an equally bad ending will await you. In my book as an rpg maker enthusiast its definitely a 10/10 despite the story leaving more to desired in general. Should you want something that is of the same caliber but darker in nature i would definitely go for wadanohara, a game which starts off light at first and flips everything about its own story over its head. I don't exaggerate the heavy topics the game holds so do go with CAUTION. Moving on. Lieat could be considered "cute" for what its worth but i personally think its simply a ruse for the heavier topics that it has underneath. Tldr: game is cute, hides heavier topics, 10/10 but the story needed more, con artist and dragon daughter solve mysteries from town to town. Creator is a Vocaloid artist who also made 1bitheart, takes a day to finish for 100%

很喜欢这个游戏啊，剧情可以，分为三个不错的小故事，整体流程不错，战斗与剧情融合的很好，整个一个游戏玩完，就真的有种养女儿的感觉吧，作为老父亲真是不容易呢。小龙真的很可爱很乖巧呢。意外的男主反而是个傲娇呢，可惜角色几个形象没有太完整的立绘，不太够看，而且剧情有几处容易卡关的地方。

its a cute game in the end of the day its nothing special in thid genre same gameplay etc its more of a story than a game but itsa good one like most games in rpgm its made out of 3 parts its a quick play it took me 5 hours but mostly due to my own incompetence lol

It was...fine! The art is great and I enjoyed finding the legendary weapons every time (even if they made combat absurdly easy). The translation left a lot to be desired though, and I wish the story had been a little better fleshed out. I'm grateful there were no jumpscares. All in all...a B.

Um jogo sensacional se você quer relaxar e curtir uma boa história! Esse foi um dos primeiros jogos de turno que tive acesso e sinceramente, tenho um carinho muito especial por ele. Se você quer ver personagens cativantes, ambientes e trilha sonora agradável, esse jogo é para você !! (principalmente para os curiosos também que acham os itens especiais perdidos por aí). Agora, se você curte mais lutas e ação o tempo todo, não vai se agradar tanto com ele, pois o foco principal é o mistério e a narrativa, principalmente pelos itens que o jogo oferece que dão muito dano (ele vai ser essencial mais para o final do jogo). Enfim, esse jogo é para aqueles que querem sentar com um café do lado e admirar uma bela arte, não tendo pressa em finalizar o jogo mas apenas aproveitando o momento ao lado de quem mais ama!! é isso.

Extremely cool small game with pretty art. It doesn't have any grandiose story, but it really made me jolly playing through it. Not many gameplay elements, but a very distinct visual style. For this price? 9/10

一个人一只龙，三段不一样的冒险，很不错的体验，是我第一次体会到古早的像素RPG游戏的魅力。
