This game is rad. The art is hot, the characters are fun, the story exists! It’s simple but you’re not here for complexity. Enjoy the ride. Play with one hand.
Lewd Mod is a niche indie simulation game that builds its entire experience around the role of a content moderator working for a fictional online platform. Developed and published by HH Richards, the game takes a concept inspired by modern social media moderation and transforms it into a lighthearted blend of decision-making, humor, and character-driven storytelling. While the premise may appear simple at first glance, the game finds ways to keep players engaged through a combination of judgment-based gameplay and ongoing interactions with its cast. The central mechanic revolves around reviewing user-submitted images and determining whether they comply with the platform's strict content guidelines. Each decision requires players to carefully inspect what appears on screen and decide whether the material should remain visible or be removed. The challenge lies in interpreting the platform's rules, which often create situations where the line between acceptable and prohibited content is not always obvious. This process creates a surprisingly engaging gameplay loop that rewards attention to detail and consistency in decision-making. A major part of the game's appeal comes from its conversational elements. Throughout the experience, players communicate with Sophie, a supervisor who guides them through their duties while also engaging in casual and often playful dialogue. These interactions provide a welcome break from the moderation tasks and give the game a stronger sense of personality. Rather than functioning as a pure simulation, Lewd Mod gradually introduces a narrative layer that encourages players to continue progressing in order to see additional conversations and character moments. The writing succeeds in making the experience feel more personal than its premise would suggest. Dialogue choices allow players to shape certain interactions, creating a sense of involvement beyond simply approving or rejecting content. The relationship between the protagonist and Sophie serves as the game's primary source of progression, and the conversations frequently add humor and charm to what could otherwise become a repetitive routine. Players who enjoy visual novel elements will likely find these exchanges to be one of the game's strongest features. Visually, the game adopts a straightforward presentation that prioritizes functionality over spectacle. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, allowing players to focus on evaluating submissions without unnecessary distractions. The artwork supports the game's comedic tone while providing enough variety to make each moderation decision feel distinct. Although the visuals are not especially ambitious, they effectively complement the overall concept and contribute to the game's casual atmosphere. One of the more interesting aspects of Lewd Mod is its subtle commentary on internet moderation and content regulation. Through its exaggerated rules and fictional social media environment, the game invites players to consider how platforms determine what is acceptable and what crosses the line. These themes are explored in a light and entertaining manner, but they add an extra layer of depth that helps the title stand out from other small-scale indie projects. The game's greatest weakness is the limited scope of its mechanics. Since most of the experience revolves around reviewing content and making approval decisions, some players may eventually find the gameplay repetitive. Those looking for extensive progression systems, complex simulations, or deep strategic gameplay may feel that the experience lacks long-term variety. However, the game never pretends to be something larger than it is, instead focusing on delivering a concise and focused experience built around its unique premise. Overall, Lewd Mod succeeds by embracing its unusual concept and delivering a surprisingly entertaining mix of moderation gameplay and character interaction. Its combination of simple mechanics, humorous writing, and light narrative progression creates an experience that is easy to pick up and enjoyable in short sessions. While its limited depth prevents it from reaching the heights of more ambitious simulation titles, it remains a memorable indie game that offers a fresh twist on a rarely explored subject. Rating: 6/10
Fun low stimulation game. Great for visually impaired gamers. Low resolution graphics, but very engaging gameplay and storyline(s). I've followed this game for a few years as it is in development; and this is the core to the franchise. I've also grown to enjoy the unique graphics and multiple characters.
Surprisingly fun game with unique interactions with the characters. I'm crossing my fingers for a follow up story soon.
I just love the concept of reviewing and inspecting lewd stuff for websites. Not many games out there have that trope. Many people might find the "lacking" of art style to be hindering but i thing its very unique and I actually like it a bit. Fun game to try out.
Came for the nudes stayed for the wholsomeness
Как и все игры Ричарда эта игра является хорошим источником для обучения английскому языку, а так же простым, но приятным, для не искушенного игрока, романтическим симулятором. Хотя прискорбно что бонусные главы не появились в Стим версии
I gotta say this one surprised me. I bought it back on itch.io because it seemed like an interesting take on the visual novel. And ive since purchased each of his spinoffs and happily await any updates to the main series. In this game you are an employee at a social media site and you have to moderate out increasingly lewd images while also navigating workplace remote relationships with a wide variety of characters. I'm personally fond of Maddie and Sophie. The art itself is very stylized and quite nice. Some of it is rather striking. There are far worse ways to spend a few bucks.
Pretty solid phone simulator game, fun characters to talk with. This is only the first game, Lewd Mod 2 (as of now not on Steam yet) has about 2 times the days than the this game, so once you're finished with this game definitely go and check out the second.
Simple game that mixes sexy pictures with paying attention to whats actually on screen, not hard but still engaging enough. price feels right Only complaint it ends on a cliff hanger!!!
