It's a very good game. Controls are not perfect on Steam Deck, but I got used to it. After some time it gets a little repetitive, but I'm just playing one day at once. Overall I really enjoy it, Lemon Cake is my daily calm time.

A lovely little management sim complete with magic and ghosts! If you liked Potion Craft you'll probably enjoy this too.

It's alright - not enough automation as you level up and gameplay stays mostly the same - not very satisfying after 2-3 hours.

Very cute game and fun, though only in small doses. It gets VERY repetitive and is a grind to finish. It took 24ish hours to get all achievements. The story is short and sweet but not very deep. The movement and controls in the game aren't the smoothest and a lil clunky at times, but you get used to it after a bit. I'd wait for it to be on sale if you are interested in it.

Since I playing this game, I want to eat lemon cake sweets but I'm not into fruit cakes so much but somehow want to eat just because of this game I feel but about this game, I even didn't have the recipe of "Lemon Cake 🍋 🍰" yet I think it is really like a robot game it will be in the end because have to earn so much xp for get that recipe too so I just keep do easy recipes for gaining the xp also just make mashmarrow? sweet? forgot that name but just sugar one and trash it and make and trash it I can earn that xp too but I need moneys to earn for umm that skill points? for skills and fruits and cow and so on I think this game is only fun at the beginning and for someone who just wants to enjoy only some hours because this is real repeat thing until I can finally have all the achievements so I feel I am a robot now when I play this game I cannot keep play it anymore so long but I play this game for my work sometimes 🤖💭🍋🍰 I am not working hard for that strange ghost but only for my achievement, means my goal I actually bought PS4 version in the past too but after read that there is a serious bug on it that they never can earn all the trophies, so I didn't play it at all even though, I thought it seems a fun game for me because I like a game that I can be a shop person or work as that place human and so on never want to work in the real world because I hate humans it must be terrible to deal with humans like that who'd leave the store only 3 minutes or so on it happened in this game too finally I could cook what they ordered but it was too late so I have to make as much as I can before the store open and that ummmm that how to say that on the floor, really annoying dirty water happens and make my movement slow so annoying and I have to wipe it so many times for one achievement too I think achivement collectors really just wasting the time including me too as for me, I have nothing better thing to do, so I would but I would never recommend humans to waste the time for this game so long but I'm surely kiddos and also adults can have a fun and calm feelings from this game at the begining and at least 5 hours or 6 or 7 hours I like this graphic design but I didn't think this ghost is a cute so much in my opinion but this game made me wanting lemon sweets somehow like lemon cake but what I imagine is, the shape is lemon 🍋 and white chocolate is costing on the lemon cake is lemon cake in Japan I think I hope I can have all the achievement someday this is one of my work now and now I thought why they can just hold only one thing at once they have two arms, so should use two arms it annoyed me maybe it was good if they added a skill, Use two hands at once, use three hands at once, use four hands!! like that monster story it would be but maybe like use 🛒cart and delivery to the customers easily and collect the items that need for the recipe at once was great but now I imagined something in my head and it was not so good idea too so I'm sorry being so noisy about this after all Thank you for creating this game 🍋🍰

This game is absolutely cute. I don't know why I was so stressed out playing this game, trying to bake so many things and to make sure there would always be food on the displays outside. I love everything about the game except for the controls. Sometimes it just doesn't register. But apart from that, it's really fun

I LOVE REPITETIVE CYCLE GAME!! took me almost 30 hr to all clear the game!!

Overall, I recommend Lemon Cake, but I do agree with a lot of the concerns other reviews mention. The controls can feel clunky or glitchy sometimes, and the movement feels pretty floaty until you get used to it. The game is also very grind heavy, especially when it comes to unlocking upgrades, since progress can feel pretty slow after a while. Another thing that frustrated me is that during the lunch rush there is basically no realistic way to serve every customer that comes in, although thankfully the game does not really punish you for missing people. That said, if you enjoy casual store management or cooking games, this is still a solid one. It is cozy, cute, and not especially difficult, which made it nice to unwind with after a long day. I think the best way to approach it is to play it a little at a time instead of trying to grind through it nonstop. For me, this became one of my "rainy day" games that I would come back to whenever the weather was bad or I just did not feel like going anywhere. Taking breaks for days or even weeks at a time actually made the gameplay loop feel a lot less repetitive, and playing it on and off like that made it last around 5 months for me. One last thing: I would not recommend buying it at full price for $15. It is enjoyable, but I think it feels much more worth it if you grab it during a sale.
