[h2]My history with the game[/h2] I finished Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice in 6.6 hours. After playing Wet Dreams Don't Dry, I was curious about the sequel, and overall I enjoyed it. In some ways, I even liked the setting more than in the previous game. It is not a masterpiece, but I am glad I played it at least once. It is a shorter point-and-click adventure, good for a few relaxed evenings or one focused playthrough. [h2]Who will love it[/h2] You will probably enjoy Wet Dreams Dry Twice if you like point-and-click adventures, light comedy, colorful 2D visuals, tropical adventure settings, and games that do not take themselves too seriously. Fans of modern Larry games should definitely give it a try. [h2]Replay value[/h2] Replay value is low to moderate. For the story itself, one playthrough is enough for me. However, I am missing one final achievement, and maybe one day I will replay the whole game just to get it. [h2]Final note[/h2] Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a good relaxing adventure game. I enjoyed the setting, the visuals, and the overall chill point-and-click feeling. It is not on the level of Runaway 2 for me, but I am still glad I finished it. The crashes and lack of autosave were annoying, but not enough to ruin the whole experience. Recommended, especially if you want a light adventure game and enjoyed the previous Wet Dreams entry.

Entwickelt von CrazyBunch und veröffentlicht von Assemble Entertainment, richtet sich das Spiel eher an Erwachsene. Wer nur flachen Sex-Humor erwartet, wird allerdings überrascht: Hinter der Fassade steckt ein solides Adventure mit viel Herz für das Genre. [h2]📖 Handlung / Story[/h2] Larry macht sich auf die Suche nach seiner großen Liebe Faith und strandet dabei auf dem tropischen Kalau'a-Archipel. Die Geschichte nimmt sich selbst nie ernst und lebt von absurden Situationen, kuriosen Figuren und jeder Menge Anspielungen. Natürlich zünden nicht alle Gags - Humor ist eben Geschmackssache. Trotzdem musste ich mehrfach schmunzeln, weil viele Dialoge einfach herrlich bekloppt geschrieben sind. Wer den Vorgänger kennt, bekommt zusätzlich einige nette Anspielungen. [h2]🎮 Gameplay[/h2] Spielerisch ist das Ganze ein klassisches Point-and-Click-Adventure mit Inventarrätseln, Dialogen und viel Herumprobieren. Die Rätsel sind insgesamt gelungen und häufig logisch aufgebaut, auch wenn ich an zwei oder drei Stellen kurz festhing und etwas um die Ecke denken musste. Positiv fand ich, dass kaum Pixeljagd nötig ist und sich die Lösungen meistens fair anfühlen. Fans klassischer Adventures kommen hier definitiv auf ihre Kosten. [h2]👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 Multiplayer[/h2] Einen Multiplayer gibt es nicht - und das wäre bei einem klassischen Adventure auch völlig fehl am Platz. [h2]🎛️ Steuerung[/h2] Die Steuerung funktioniert angenehm unkompliziert. Maus und Interface reagieren zuverlässig und wichtige Hotspots lassen sich gut erkennen. Das sorgt dafür, dass man sich auf die Rätsel konzentrieren kann und nicht gegen die Bedienung kämpfen muss. [h2]💀 Schwierigkeit[/h2] Der Schwierigkeitsgrad bewegt sich im guten Mittelfeld. Die meisten Rätsel lassen sich mit etwas Geduld lösen, ohne dass ständig eine Komplettlösung nötig wird. Einige Kombinationen sind zwar etwas speziell, insgesamt bleibt das Spiel aber angenehm fair. [h2]🎨 Grafik[/h2] Die bunte Comic-Grafik passt perfekt zum Humor des Spiels. Die tropischen Inseln sind abwechslungsreich gestaltet und die Figuren verfügen über viele kleine Animationen. Technisch ist das natürlich kein Grafikfeuerwerk, aber der Stil besitzt jede Menge Charme und wirkt sehr stimmig. [h2]🎧 Sound / Bildschirmtexte[/h2] Die deutsche Sprachausgabe transportiert den Humor hervorragend und verleiht den Figuren viel Persönlichkeit. Die Musik bleibt locker und unaufdringlich im Hintergrund und unterstützt die Urlaubsatmosphäre gut. [h2]🛠️ Technik / Bugs[/h2] Während meines Spieldurchgangs lief das Spiel stabil. Größere Bugs oder Abstürze sind mir nicht aufgefallen. Auch in der Community wird überwiegend von einer technisch sauberen Umsetzung berichtet. [h2]🔄 Grind[/h2] Grind gibt es praktisch keinen. Der Spielfortschritt hängt ausschließlich davon ab, Rätsel zu lösen und die Geschichte voranzutreiben. [h2]⏳ Spielzeit / Umfang[/h2] Für die Hauptgeschichte sollte man ungefähr 10 bis 15 Stunden einplanen - abhängig davon, wie schnell die Rätsel gelöst werden. Das ist für ein Adventure ein ordentlicher Umfang, ohne künstlich in die Länge gezogen zu werden. [h2]🏆 Errungenschaften / Achievements[/h2] Es gibt viele Story-Errungenschaften, die sich im Laufe des Spiels ganz automatisch freischalten. Daneben gibt es leider auch einige verpassbare Achievements für die spezielle Aktionen nötig sind z. B. „Bing!“, „Ruf mich an!“ oder auch „Ist das noch witzig?“. Außerdem muss man für „Stirb Langsam“ jeden erdenklichen Tod mindestens ein Mal erleben - es gibt, soweit ich weiß, sechs unterschiedliche Arten zu sterben. Alle Achievements sind nicht besonders nervig oder schwer außer die Errungenschaften „Leisure Suit“ oder „Wedding Suit“ - hierfür muss das Spiel erneut durchspielen: Das erste Mal z. B. im Leisure Suit und das zweite Mal im Wedding Suit oder umgekehrt. I decided to review the 2 games together as despite the change of setting and a few updates(and glitches) they’re the same game. Find items to put them on things or combine some of them to those on things. That simple stuff. The thing that’s gonna make or break this game for people is the humour and for me, it wasn’t that funny. I get that it’s a sex comedy so there’s a lot of sex jokes, puns and references and while some were clever, like that puzzle to forge an internship paper, others are just either not funny or trying too hard like everything with the villain from the sequel. But humour is subjective and you might enjoy it. And I admit, I can recommend the first game on a sale. The second however…didn’t enjoy it as much, and that's mainly do to the plot. In the first game, your’re just climbing the ranks of Tinder to get a high enough score for sexy blonde while failing to get laid. It’s simple, fits the tone and can be fun. In the second game, you’re looking for the main girl from the first game while some James Bond villain has a plans for world domination while succeeding in getting laid. It’s more plot focus, has stakes and isn’t as fun. To think, Larry succeeding with women actually makes things less enjoyable. If you want to play them, that’s fine. I’ll just wait for a sale cause you can get them for nothing on sale. First game: Okay. Second game: Maybe.

if you know Larry games as i do then you will fall in love with this one. Its longer than the previous one and much more enjoyabe. Its games like this that we need...to feel calm and laugh. I hope they make another one soon 10/10

An extremely fun, if sometimes convoluted, sequel to Wet Dreams Don't Dry. The only things letting it down were the frequent crashes (though thankfully, this one quicksaves every time you enter a new location) and the final puzzle, which over stayed it's welcome a little. Over all, really fun, and I'd definitely recommend picking it up, though wait for a sale if you're not a die hard P&C Game fan

Все те же проблемы, что и у предыдущей части. Как квест игра неплоха, но чувствуется как дешевая и безвкусная подделка под Депонию: чересчур прямолинейные шутки, фальшивое окружение и много ненужных персонажей.

Мне понравилось, но верните мне Пай ироды. Почему так грустно ? Без нее даже играть не комфортно было. Вы разбили мне сердце, особенно в конце. И даже свадьба нафиг не нужна была. До последнего надеялась. 10 Пай из 10 -_-

In short: if you love old point&click adventures, you come to the right place! The new Larry episodes are hilariously funny and have some hard nuts puzzles. 🤩 Regardless, i would give both games "just" a 4/5 rating since two things seriously bothered me: 1.) on my steam deck, i had some crashes from time to time.... moreover there were some glitches during playing. 2.) some puzzles were quite unfair where you just have to resort in a painful "combine anything with everything" trial&error approach. Some "solutions" are just utterly crazy which cannot be solved by reasoning. Still, it was great fun and i would gladly see another episode of this reboot.

Larry, hehe, Larry Laffer. 9/10 - auch mir sind teilweise die Dialoge zu nervig und einige Rätsel nur mit Hilfe machbar, sonst wäre ich noch mehr als 15 Stunden unterwegs gewesen. Aber trotzdem mehr als solide. Sehr schönes Abenteuer. P.S.: Spiel ist 2x abgestürzt, konnte den Spielstand aber beide male exakt an dem Punkt weiterspielen.
