About
Waves of enemies attack you and your opponents. Build defenses to survive. Send mercenaries to smash through your opponents' defenses. Scale your economy to become a late game beast. Like Chess, every match is familiar enough to reward game knowledge, but divergent enough to require adaptation.
Each match, you receive a random roll of 6 fighters, from 12 million possible combinations. Every fighter has strengths & weaknesses. Some secure strategic advantages early game, while others have powerful late-game synergies. Your skill lies in your ability to make the most of the hand you're dealt.

With 9+ years worth of data-driven, monthly balance patches, Legion TD 2 is perhaps the most balanced competitive game in the world. Rather than introduce disruptive changes every year to shake things up, Legion TD 2 has opted to chase perfecting a healthy meta. If you take a break for a couple years and come back, your same openings will probably still be viable.

Party as 1-8 players. Play 2v2 and 4v4 matchmade games.

Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2. The top 5 most played Warcraft 3 mods are DotA, Legion TD, Wintermaul, Footmen Frenzy, and Life of a Peasant. Legion TD is proud to hold the silver medal.

Legion TD 2 launched in early access in 2017, and has received major updates, quality of life, and balance changes every single month since then. After fully launching in October 2021, we believe it has grown to become the most replayable, balanced, competitive strategy experience out there. Unlike other indie multiplayer games, Legion TD 2's playerbase has stood the test of time, having been active & steady for nearly 10 years and counting.

Would strongly recommend this hidden gem. Legion TD 2 is an autobattler based on a popular Warcraft 3 and StarCraft 2 custom map. While i never really got into those LTD2 is alot more accsessable for new players The developers have knocked this one out of the park and continue to maintain and balance it exceptionally well. The core of the game is its competitive ranked mode. I encourage anyone interested to play a few games against bots, learn the basics, and then jump right in. The game is relatively easy to learn, but very difficult to master. The matchmaking system also does a good job of pairing you with and against players of a similar skill level. Probably the game’s greatest success is how well balanced it is between the randomized Mastermind builders and a slowly evolving meta. Over the last few years that I have played, it has never felt like memorizing one particular meta is the only way to succeed. Taking risks, being creative, and working with what you have are often what win games. for new players theres a ton of information and the game does a great job of guiding you so you know whats going on, with build recomendations and stats. ive intorduced this game to several non gamer friends who have picked it up pretty quickly thanks to these systems. Game has active comunity, thats large enough to get a game pretty quick any time of day Very Strongly recommended. for any one that like autofighers, or who wants a multiplayer game thats not reaction time based.

I bought this game a while back, finally played it after a long while, I think I didn't want to bother learning how all the currency works, but when I finally gave it a chance, I did all the tutorials and it was a fantastic on-boarding experience. I love tower defense type games and this one really speaks to me. my only gripe is that I don't care for how the view is, using the mouse to get around. It's hard with my 2 monitor set up lol. But also then that means I can't play this game on a handheld like Asus or even if there was a mobile version, that would be amazing.
Great little game to play semi-casually. It's not really a tower defence (traditionally anyway) despite the name, it is closer to a 2v2 or 4v4 autobattler. The mechanics make the game feel like an RTS without the micro, but will still much of the macro around build orders and economy. You build your defence and build workers for income, while sending additional attackers to your opponent. Though most of the time you will be playing with a random set of units, and how much you need to build depends greatly on your opponent so you don't feel much of a fixed build order. The more competitive play also seems quite interesting; the devs seem pretty committed to balancing the game. There is a campaign which is pretty fun to play with friends, and it has the best mechanic in co-op gaming: only the host needs to own the DLC.
Great team based multiplayer tower defense game! Different than traditional TD games as you assemble your defenses (melee in front and casters/range in back) which come to life when the round starts to automatically fight against the waves of creeps. Depending on the towers you choose and where you place them is key. The enemy team also contends against their own and you can send additional creeps with your secondary resource which increases your income. Build with as little money required so you can invest for late game, send strategically with your teammates to make the enemy team leak. Any creeps that leak by your army are then fighting against your teammates and if they pass them too they're fighting against your king. Destroy the enemy king to win. Been playing since Warcraft 3 and Starcraft II's Squadron D, Loved this game for years and this is one of the best iterations. One thing I miss seeing is the workers you train running back and forth. LTD started out a little rough around the edges especially in the menu art, but overall the gameplay, character design, and animations are all beyond indie title quality. I personally would not recommend the single player DLC but that's just me. Still some room for improvement and they continuously adding new things including fun game type rotations to change gameplay, new towers, and frequent balancing. If you're a fan of TD games you will likely love this.

One of the best to come out of the WC3 mod scene. The game is still getting regular feature updates, and the devs are quite responsive.
Very nice and relaxing game. It's similar to the Legion TD from warcraft 3 custom map and it reproduced it in it's own way very beautifully
для тех кому нравятся ТДшки - самый сок. Какой никакой баланс, рейтинг, кооператив. Воспоминания о былых временах...
Amazing game, its like the perfect blend of PVE and PVP. I used to play only Ranked, however trying to keep up with the META to stay competitive is alot. PVE Classic mode is my new bread and butter, just theory crafting your builds and placements is awesome. Manage units and economy. Good autobattlers are hard to find, but this game deserves a far bigger player count.
