Legends of Amberland: The Forgotten Crown is a classic western RPG inspired by the games from the 90s. Basically, it’s the kind of game I personally find missing nowadays. Light, fairy tale, epic, heroic, slightly humorous and without the need of endless grind to progress.

Amberland is a spiritual successor to Clouds of Xeen, which is one of my favorite RPGs ever made.

Don't play the game on Insane I got to about level 35 before the tedium got to me. Couldn't afford any items, 100% of gold for a mid helm upgrade, etc, obviously was never balance tested. I bet if I played on hard would have been a lot more fun though. Maybe I'll do another play-through later.
Nice old school dungeon crawler RPG. Decent customization regarding weapons and armor. Pretty good story. Def not a hand holder you will have to pay attention to people and what they say etc. Definitely recommended 8/10
old-school fun
A brief — relaxing — exercise in mulching hundreds of monsters in the way of the old school. Interested to see the subtle refinements in Amberland 2+3
Its good
anyone who is in the development game of making blobbers gets a thumbs up from me expecially ones that use insparation from world of xeen and might and magic games. I love blobbers to my core and it makes me sad there arent more bigger budget blobbers to play anymore but atleast devs like this are taking up the mantle and doing what they can with the budget they can to bring us some classic dungeon crawls! Thank you for what you do!
If Steam allowed neutral reviews, that's what I'd give this. It's a bland, vanilla dungeon crawler, with nothing to make it stand out. The simplicity of this game makes it appealing to newcomers to the genre, but if this is not your first dungeon crawler, I think you'll find this one disappointing.
Very fun!
