Legacy of Kain: Defiance (2003)

Great game but the recently released remaster fixes most of the issues this one had, biggest one being the camera. Get the remasters for 1 and 2 and then play this. One of the best series ever made.

This game has one of the worst controls out of any game I ever played, but I'm glad I decided to get through it because in terms of story, it might be the best legacy of kain game. You can buy "controller companion" on steam and then download a button layout specifically for this game on the program's steam workshop to make it work with a controller. There is a remaster coming so if you're thinking about buying it right now then I'd wait

Kolejna część z cyklu historii o dwóch wampirach. Bez znajomości poprzednich części trudno tu cokolwiek zrozumieć, ale dialogi napisane są tu w iście Szekspirowskim stylu. Lore tej gry jest świetne i mimo że właśnie od tej odsłony zaczynałem swoją przygodę z Legacy of Kain to cieszę się że to zrobiłem, bo zachęciło mnie to do poznania reszty historii, tym razem już bardziej chronologicznie. Gameplayowo LoK: Defiance jest do bólu powtarzalny (serio) ale nadrabia to świetnym klimatem i oprawą audio. Polecam.

Kain is at his peak in Defiance. Wielding the Soul Reaver tightens his grip on Raziel, Mobius, and other enemies Kain faces on his journey to restore the Pillars of Nosgoth to its glory. There are several instances in this action game that have forged a strong admiration for Kain and his attempts to regain his reign over his kingdom. His voracious laughter heard while piercing his blade through his foes can be felt in the distant future. Loved every minute of playing Legacy of Kain: Defiance and can't wait to purchase its sequel Ascendance that's launching at the end of this month.
