Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Start your career in IT and face problems inspired by the real work of a technical department. Take tickets, diagnose faults, and search for their causes on your own.
The game won't always tell you exactly what to do. Read the documentation, analyze the configuration, check the logs, and use available tools. Sometimes the solution will take just a few clicks; other times it will require the right command in the terminal.
Think like an IT specialist.

Work with an extensive, simulated IT infrastructure. Configure computers, servers, routers, switches, access points, printers, and other devices.
Resolve issues related to the network, TCP/IP, system, drivers, hardware, users, permissions, Wi-Fi, BIOS, or software.
Use CMD and PowerShell, test connections, check configuration, and find the source of the problem instead of looking for a ready-made "Fix" button.

Your responsibilities do not end with user computers.
Configure IP addressing, gateways, DNS, routers, switches, and access points. Manage servers and an environment inspired by Active Directory — users, groups, computers, and permissions.
Devices operate within a shared infrastructure so that a single mistake can affect the entire network.

Develop your career towards programming as well. Write and run real code directly inside the IT Specialist Simulator environment.
Learn and utilize Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Git. Create scripts, websites, and web applications, work with databases, and launch your own projects in a simulated network.
Write code. Test. Make mistakes. Fix them.

IT Specialist Simulator is not about playing a series of identical mini-games. You receive a ticket, tools, and access to the infrastructure — you must find the way to solve the problem yourself.
From a simple computer issue to corporate network configuration and server administration, and even creating your own applications.
Solve tickets. Gain experience. Develop skills. Become an IT specialist.

While I initially liked the core features and concept of the game, I am requesting a refund due to the excessive use of AI-generated art throughout the product. As a game about the IT community, using generative AI feels incredibly out of touch. The IT and tech communities heavily oppose generative AI replacing human artists and workers, and seeing it used so heavily here ruins the immersion and enjoyment of the game. I cannot support a product that relies on this practice.
Mixed thoughts in random order. I got this game to learn some IT stuff and while it is interesting, there are bugs that could be fixed, typos corrected and QOL improvements to be made. 1: The map is trash. How am I supposed to use it when its zoomed into my character. The zoom in function works. Zooming out? good luck. I haven't been able to see the full map at once. instead I'm locked at looking at 5% of the map at a time. Also being able to set the map into a locked position instead of constantly rotating around would be nice. 2. Tutorial? While I saw there were tutorials I just loaded a basic game and did the default tutorial. I hate how they teach you a few tasks and then leave you on your own. Its medium mode and I'm a beginner. wtf? No tips. No clues. 3. I hate how while you are figuring stuff out, the time is constantly running. You expect me to be a pro when I click play. I'm on medium, not god mode. If you expect me to figure things completely out on my own, at least pause the timer when I'm tabbed out or reading documents or something. 4. At the end of the day, it locks you in the front gate. I understand it helps with time management but still, that's rather annoying. When your day ends IRL, you don't automatically teleport to an exit and get accused of stealing. Maybe add a penalty to return supplies or something? 5. In the tutorial it tells you to find a cabinet. You are actually looking for your locker. The tutorial also leads you awkwardly around. You tell me to look at a map for the wrong item and then you expect me to use the correct item while I'm still on the map. 6. The map doesn't have a quick close function and I believe that applied to other menus as well. Normally you click e to interact and e again to stop interacting but it doesn't work for every menu and the map function has to be closed out manually with a mouse click. It would be nice to be able to click M to open or close the map. 7. It would be nice if tab was added to view tasks and escape was set to menu type items. Its annoying how escape interacts with different menus leaving you unable to check a task at certain steps. 8. I saw there was a hint function and that it apparently activates at certain parts of progress but it doesn't seem to actually work. the pop up text goes off screen so I cant even read what it fully says. 9. There also needs to be some sensitivity settings and more resolution settings. A windowed borderless mode would be nice. 10: Why is there a training mode if its unavailable? 11. Also, since I am not an IT pro, its really hard to tell when I'm doing something wrong or if something is bugged. I spent hours looking on how to solve a task. Couldn't figure it out. I loaded into practice mode and loaded the same task. I was able to complete the task without issue. This leads me to believe I wasn't able to complete the task initially because it was bugged out and I wasn't aware. Not cool. Overall: This can be a fun game and while it is educational, the learning curve is apparently great. If you have IT knowledge and skills, this could probably help you build on those skills. If you are completely new to IT, good luck figuring it out cause you're getting next to no help. Update: I went to easy mode. Guess what? Still the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You name a task and in no way do you instruct me on how to do that. Its the exact same in medium mode. There are also 0 good tutorial videos. I watched a video of one tutorial showing you how to change your network name and instead it showed me how to login and change a password as if the entire situation was perfect. 0 troubleshooting, 100% waste of time. How do you expect people to play your game if they don't even know how to play. I wanted to play your game to build skills to get certifications. You are requiring me to have certifications before I can even play. The only skill you are reinforcing in my googling skills. I love/hate this game. The developer responded to me. Super cool. I understand using the forum and that most of the information you need is probably in the game, however, you don't really guide the player into how to use that. There is no real search function and although it is very realistic, you stop super short of actual real life actions. It would be cool if you had like a google search in game to find the information you need. One example I would give on task guidance, when you change network stuff, you sometimes have to check the server rack. That's simple enough but you dont actually highlight everything I need to do, you highlight the server rack my task is attached to. There is no follow up or task continuation details. It appears you can do most task from any computer. I could be wrong about some of this but my point, I don't know what I'm doing and there's not much helping me correct that.

I tried for 78 minutes and I was on easy. I just do not know what to do so I cant solve the problems. IMO its just not beginner friendly yet.
There is nothing more relaxing then coming home from your 8 hour first level support shift and playing a game and dealing with the same ♥♥♥♥. I recommend big times.
the workday should have about 1-2 hours of teams meetings, other than that, fairly realistic sim.

bad game
Typical day of commercial / corporate IT work. Professional equipment restarter and cable replacer. Would be cool to see you introduce something so we can actually go to our apartment and customize it instead of being at work 24/7, even tho it is lowkey accurate.
I changed jobs not to do helpdesk and be responsible for infrastructure Now I play this game and do what I hate the most: Help Desk It is absolute hell and represents Help Desk work The users are absolute dumb, 11/10 - True Help Desk Experience (It's atrocious)
