Legacy of Epstein: Foul Dreamer

It's like Deus Ex but for adults.

Pretty solid lil game. Brimming with personality and weird online humor. The only thing that bugged me was a lack of a save feature. On my first playthrough I got a bit over an hour into the game when I died and upon respawning, the music had doubled over itself due to a random bug. I figured I'd exit the game only to realize after that there was no form of saving, a bit annoying, but not too difficult to get back to where I was a second time. Other than that, I really enjoyed this and recommend it (only for the hardkore XxEliteGamerzxX out there). It'll run around 2 hours unless you want to go for all achievements. Definitely worth $3.

As a big fan of uncle J. I am utterly disappointed by mediocracy of this game. Could have been a Postal-like dark humor masterpiece but I guess we cant have good stuff here. Requested a refund. Gabe give me my money back or I swear you'll end up finding your name in some funny files

this allegorical non-fiction draws on eclectic influences to tell its esoteric and dangerous tale. one of its intellectual progenitors tells the tale of an arrogant man brought into a world of vampiric intrigue who narcissistically fosters progeny to rule the world, rejecting his condemnation by the authorities in order to pursue kompromat on the Elder God. one of his wayward subordinates eventually returns to the fold to play the role of fateful redeemer, but not before it appears as if he has been betrayed and manipulated by his flawed father-figure. juglio epstein is called to action by a letter from his gamer buddy Lenny. much like the protagonist of the previous story, he is captured by a tale of intrigue. while his own father-figure (J.E.) is never seen, he is present in spirit at around every corner. Juglio's own origins are hinted at by conspicuous peppering of his last name throughout the game. could 'J.E.' also be an Epstein like Lenny and Juglio? it appears so; but in fear of the powers that be, the game may only hint at this. the Epstein saga is introduced through scraps of lore found throughout the blighted and damned city of Ghettysburg, where Juglio, in pursuit of the truth, is forced to comply with the machinations of evil beings. this game chronicles the lowest point in Juglio's journey, where all seems lost. it shows us his moment of betrayal, as he is framed for the murder of his gamer buddy Lenny - who also shares his surname. the parallels to our own reality are obvious though kept subtle. for example, the city of Ghettysburg has a sperm bank arguably controlled by 'J.E.'. he is not afraid to silence the truth, such as happened to Lenny, leaving wetwork to his agent (Maxwell). by slowly replacing Ghettysburg's population with his own geneseed, he can raise an army to do his bidding - much in parallel with the vampire saga the game draws inspiration from. hinting again at our own reality, Ghettysburg is connected to the rest of the world by Soros transport lines... juglio - much like all of us - finds himself in the middle of this conspiracy. we are offered a choice: remain in the matrix forever, or accept the esoteric, whatever it may bring... who is Juglio? what will he find out about his own past and origins? who is J.E. and is he the same person as the Spaghetti Man? what dark impulse brings anyone to Ghettysburg? we may perhaps find out in the next installment. PS. the powers that be chose to announce and release the similarly named Vampire Game's remaster very shortly after this game's release. common psyop. keep your eyes on the ball.

A fun little collect-a-thon and 3D platformer with a unique brand of humor. I loved it.
