About
Play as the noblest of fantasy heroes: an insurance adjuster. But when an ancient enemy threatens life as you know it, you must leave your cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield. Deny a claim. Save the world.
Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

This is an utterly perfect game. Go play it. I...seriously don't know what else to play. Were I a billionaire, I would buy this game for everyone who asked. If I were a millionaire, I would buy it for everyone who asked.
Only played a few hours and really loved the game. However, now I'm at the third mission and I'm using the second hardest difficulty. Having EACH retry for a battle cost time is just stupid. The 4 turn requirement is just so hard to manage there and everytime I didn't make it due to some random ass attack miss. I know its a game mechanic and I wouldn't even mind replaying the whole fight each time instead of just the one turn. But having it locked behind the time mechanic is just stupid.

very good, still working on finishing it. worth playing.
I have had the great privilege of watching this game come to life from its early development, and now I'm so happy to finally play the full kit n' caboodle! Ledgerbound is really fun and polished, and it's really plain to see how much love went into it. The art and VO are really stellar, and of course the gameplay itself is engaging. I found some of the equipment management a little overwhelming at first, but I think that's pretty par for the course with any first-time run on a game this in-depth. Plus, there are always free HR training courses I can take at camp if I need a refresher! (Word of note: if your PC has specs like mine, the game may run a little slow. But that's not the game's fault heh, and it's not too bad, all things considered!)
I'm having a delightful time with this game so far. The mechanics of the game remind me a lot of Fire Emblem or Persona. If you like the kind of tactics and time management in those games, you'll probably find yourself at home here. I also really love this silly cast of characters. Having a blast getting to know them all :)
This is the funniest game I have ever played. I've been playing games for 17 years and the writing in this is the absolute funniest thing ever it has been a while since I stayed up very late Without intending to. But this was so funny and so interesting that I stayed up until like 5 in the morning playing this.
An irreverent indie SRPG that presses all the right buttons with great (and raunchy) characters, punchy writing, and a solid voice cast. The gameplay is fun and some of the challenges are tight. I wish there was a bit more lenience in regards to saving and customization (since every action you take uses time, even equipping gear), but it's nothing you can't power through. I forsee myself playing through this multiple times to experiment with different characters.
Hat Rack already loves me. 10/10, no notes.
Fun and endearing game, yet... Guys, I appreciate the artistic merit in making the game a non-save one go, but you should at least make sure the bugs don't hinder that. I had 4 resterludes finished abruptly because the game decided to die on me for pressing the confirm button too fast (I guess). It's morbidly hilarious.
stephanie kerbis my beloved <3 on another note the writing and voice acting is hilarious, its chaotic and vulgar without being overly edgy. The combat is pretty simple but fun enough. Its a pretty fun game, would recommend :D
