About

Plan, build, and unwind in a first-person city-builder set in medieval China. Start as a humble craftsman and, step by step, plan, produce, and raise monumental structures. Manage villagers, set up production chains, and fine-tune logistics so your village flourishes—at your own pace, without pressure, with the satisfaction of a well-designed system.

Explore three distinct regions—mountain passes, desert flats, and fertile river valleys—each with unique resources, challenges, and views that beg to be screenshotted. The landscape isn’t just a backdrop; it shapes your strategy and what you can achieve. Unearth the secrets of ancient techniques, master your craft, and build traditional chinese landmarks.

From cutting stone and shaping timber to firing bricks and smelting metals—every structure comes together through clear, logical stages. Raise defense towers, desert forts, and the legendary Jiankou Sky Stairs. Your projects also power the settlement’s infrastructure: workshops, kilns, forges, and ornament workshops.

You are both manager and craftsman. Cultivate fields, raise livestock, cook traditional dishes, and care for your villagers’ well-being. Customize buildings, place decorations, and watch a bustling town emerge—perfect for calm, evening sessions.

As your reputation rises, earn the emperor’s attention, unlock new techniques, master your craft, and carve your name in history as a master builder. Follow the story of master Jun and his granddaughter Mei through a journey of skill, tradition, and ambition.

Unfortunately bugged and unable to complete a quest after getting 10 hours in. I'll recommend this game if they fix it.
I absolutely loved this game up to a point. As soon as you get the city, the lag is atrocious, even with the all of the settings on low. As soon as this is fixed, I will be right back to play it through, but it is just not playable past a certain point in it's current state.
The game itself is great. the building mechanics are interesting and engaging. However, there are several game breaking quest completion bugs, even just 4 hours in, that aren't addressed by devs in the community hub, but are well known/reported in the steam forums by the player base. While there are updates and hot fixes, some of these quest bugs have been around for months without a mention when they prevent you from progressing.
The game is not bad, however there is a game braking bug that does not let you advance in the game currently, it's been there over 2 months. Devs mentioned something once on their Discord about preparing a big update containing also fixes... they said that 2 weeks ago. The fact of the matter is, they don't seem bothered by the fact that many people can't progress in their broken game for over two months now. Until this is fixed, which is a mystery if it will or not, stay away.
It is a nice, chill game about building your own Chinese village, but it has a lot of bugs, some nitpicky, some big. Game keeps freezing when I try to mass-produce Planned Planks. Doing it to fill up a caravan so I can go help repair the Great Wall, but the game does no tell you how to get to the area where the Great Wall is, so I'm just... stuck? Not sure if it's a bug or not. The game also is soft-locking me on a quest for Jun where you have to automate wood production in your village. The quest is waiting for "Villagers to collect some wood". They've collected thousands of wood, but the quest refuses to complete. Not sure what else I can do. Wait for the game to get some more fixes before you buy.
Jein, derzeit nein. Wer weiß was noch so kommt.
Quite a fun little game, if a bit buggy. The only real complaint i have is that i want more monuments to build, they really don't need to be related to the Great Wall like how it is currently. I'd easily pay $5 or $10 for a Forbidden City dlc, but let us build the entire thing and not just the centerpiece.
Fun very buggy eurojank. It's a pure building simulator in old China, no Open World Survival Crafting or village manager. Very novel concept. Be warned though, the game is very buggy to the point of breaking main quests.
esta fenomenal me encanta
Has it's problems but those buildings are damn fine. 10/10 for design
