About
Play as the noblest of fantasy heroes: an insurance adjuster. But when an ancient enemy threatens life as you know it, you must leave your cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield. Deny a claim. Save the world.
Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

I really enjoyed this game and it's narrative. For the most part it tells a unserious, sarcastic and fun story. But at it's core it's about loneliness and companionship with heartwarming and sweet relationships which build up over the course of the story.
I waited for this game, and I don’t regret buying it, but it’s a mixed bag, so let me be specific. Spoilers ahead. What works. The voice acting carries the entire game. I can’t imagine how many hours went into recording and mixing all of it, and it shows, the sound is excellent. Thank you for that work. The character writing is the other half of it. Every character is distinct, no one is a reskin of anyone else, and they’re genuinely funny. What doesn’t. The saves. Plenty of people have said this already and I’m not going to be the exception, I’m not replaying the entire game just to see a different ending. I want to see where another storyline goes, and there’s no way to get there without starting over from scratch. I finished the game and I’m locked out entirely. The menu screen is missing its items, so I can’t even start a new run. The story loses me at the end. The protagonist finishes exactly where she began, and I kept asking what the journey was for. A circular arc can work, but she has to come back changed, and I couldn’t point to what changed. There’s also just too much text. The voice work makes the dialogue pleasant to sit through, but the sheer volume works against the game. At restitudes I tried to talk to everyone, and there are so many characters that it turns into a long stretch of pure conversation. The ratio is off, too much talking, not enough fighting between the talking. The difficulty doesn’t hold up either. I played on normal and nearly every enemy went down in a single attack, which makes the protagonist’s “I don’t know if we’ll survive the last battle” land completely flat. The writing keeps insisting the stakes are life-or-death while the combat quietly tells me otherwise. The romance had the same problem. Cazian asks at one point whether they’re exclusive. He’s not the type to share, and I said yes. After that, almost nothing came of it. They talk about what he’ll do once the quest is over, and then the quest ends and they don’t even speak. All that buildup goes nowhere. If I’d known the line paid off that flatly, I would have stayed poly. No Steam Deck support. I played on one, and the help text during battles and the newspaper sections were a real struggle, the font is far too small to read at that screen size. Despite all of that, I still love this game. The foundation is strong, and I hope to see more from you in the next game, improved and better balanced. All the best to the team.

This game surprised me and has surpassed my expectations. I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I love Tactical rpgs, crpgs, jrpgs. I was worried for the first 30 minutes with how cringy some of the characters are, millennial slop is what I thought to myself. It got alot better. There are multiple times where the characters are actually funny. I havnt beaten the game yet, so far im very happy with pretty much everything this game is. I hope this game becomes successful so we can get a more from these devs. Love this game and eagerly wish for more in the future. Thank you devs.
I feel sexually harrased playing this
Can't play it fully yet but immediately knew this is my type of game. A++++ It's giving dispatch vibes and I love it for that
G.O.T.Y
Ledgerbound is one of those games that knows exactly what it is and commits completely. It takes tactical-RPG combat, corporate satire, relationship-building, and an unreasonably enthusiastic amount of adult humor, then turns that mix into a game with real charm. The combat is approachable but satisfying, with enough positioning, team composition, and elemental interaction to keep fights engaging which makes every encounter enjoyable. The time-management layer also gives your choices between missions weight: there is always one more piece of company-approved admin, one more upgrade, or one more conversation you want to squeeze in. What really sells it is the presentation. The writing is confidently weird, the voice cast is excellent, and the game manages to land jokes while still making its characters feel worth investing in. I absolutely love this game.
I decided that this is one of my favourite games of the year within the first 5 minutes
