About

Granvir is an action roguelite featuring mech building. Players battle through a route of their choice reaching extraction and completing side objectives at the cost of valuable resources. Between battles, players can swap out parts for upgrades found on the battlefield and manage their campaign by taking on loans to afford ammunition, aiding the locals for support in battle and more.

Equip devastating melee weapons such as swords, rocket spears and pile bunkers. Wield powerful long range guns like cannons, machine guns, flamethrowers and rocket pods. Mix and match armaments to suit your play style.
Mix torsos, legs, armatures and special modules to customize your Granvir. Defeating enemy ace pilots unlocks their unique parts.

Complete any campaign in single-player or multiplayer co-op with up to 10 Granvir pilots at a time. Share parts and resources utilizing the squad depot in rest areas as you plan your next moves.
No campaign is the same as you manage time, resources and your route to each objective. Each zone impacts what services and resources are available. Use down time between missions to refit and upgrade your Granvir to prevail.

The moment-to-moment gameplay is fun, but menus make micromanagement a pain. The menus are also a bit too clunky for how long you are going to spend in them. Strange design choices, such as scrapping in between missions depositing scrap into your inventory, which you then have to deposit anyways. You can't use scrap in missions. Why is it even going into my mech inventory. The whole thing FEELS fun, but it has a layer of grime that you usually only see in Early Access games.
I don't know if I should recommend or not recommend Granvir. It's like Mech Warriors (2,3) but with ammo and currency management - it's a drawback. I really want to love Granvir, but it's just a few steps away from becoming a one-and-done game to a constantly replayable game like ROR. 1. Ammo management doesn't feel fun. I like where the dev was going with the idea of managing your ammo. It costs money to get ammo, so make each bullet count and calculate risk-reward of shooting your gun. The execution is not something I find enjoyable. Most of the time I always end up skipping ammo and rushing for melee weapons without ammo, and saving ammo only for tough battles. It's unclear exactly how much ammo you have, since each gun uses ammo differently so I can't tell how many bullets I have before having to commit to an actual fight. I know it's a technical handwave in order to make it streamline, but right now it's at a point where I cannot figure out when the risks are worth the reward. It just doesn't feel right. I don't even have suggestions on how to fix this. It feels weird. Like I wish I didn't have to worry so much about ammo, or have to worry about it in a different way. I liked the reload timing - it requires careful decision making on whether it's a good idea to reload now or behind a rock. 2. Arena is bad. Initially I liked the idea of the Arena. You fight with parts you unlock throughout the game, and see how far you can go. I feel like it's underdeveloped due to lacking any kind of reward system. Yes, you can get money for winning, but why bother when all the parts are free, and there is nothing you can unlock with the money. Again, another idea that sounds good on paper, but execution is off. I think it would've been cool if I could unlock more parts by winning money in the arena, or have to pay for unlocked parts by winning in the arena. Maybe even have boss rounds where every 5th or 10th round would be an ACE. The other part I also didn't like was the lack of ammo in the arena; ammo complaint again. After a dozen rounds you're out of ammo, and seem stuck. Now I die because of ammo management, not because of lack of skill or proper parts. The loss feels out of my control. Ammo is a dooms day clock ticking down until I run out then die, which again I am FORCED to mitigate with melee weapons. It doesn't feel fun having to be forced. Unfortunately, after looking it through I don't think I can recommend it. It's unfair to compare it to ROR, but I feel like the dev is on to something great. Just a few tweaks and I think it can make the game fantastic.
A really good mech game with looter-shooter elements. The campaigns are interesting and have different campaign map mechanics which makes each different enough to keep my interest. I want more campaigns, and hopefully a community campaign maker will be available at some point.
Great game, co-op is awesome! Dev keeps updating. Eat 15 hours in only a few days. Planning to keep playing until we get all the way through it.
Honestly a really good time, really fun with friends. My only suggestion for the Dev's is to give the sound design a little more love and care, mostly towards the gun sounds and maybe walking, i kinda wanna hear it with a bit more Oomph, deep sounds that just make the guns sound as big as they actually are. Other then that, art style and the game play all feel really good! :D
Uuuuh if you want to spend 800+ hours endlessly stomping your balls for the promise of a gold star sticker I guess it's ok. I wish I could just, y'know, play the game and not have a constant reminder that if I ever want to finish the game I'd have to do everything on the hardest difficulty, which, ♥♥♥♥ you, no, I will not do.
Always checking out new mech games when they come out and this truly is one of the greatest of all time. The dev clearly loves gundam and giant robots and puts a lot of love into the game its really just such a great game.
mechwarriors if it was whimsical
The game is good, there's an amazing foundation, but the draw isn't 100% yet. My only gripe is the lack of hard-hitting, or fitting music in mission. There's something that feels lacking in the 'vibes' that could make it flow better, immerse you more. The music that is there quickly gets repetitive. The same could be said with sound design, but a little less so. It could definitely be worse, but if/when it's better, I'd be talking about this to friends.
Surprisingly enjoyable The speed is not hyper but it still exciting The AI looks simple but if you get gang up without good reactor and equipment you cooked The limited resources make me decision feel thrilling I don't know if it will become chore but so far it's within tolerance for me
