About
Play as the noblest of fantasy heroes: an insurance adjuster. But when an ancient enemy threatens life as you know it, you must leave your cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield. Deny a claim. Save the world.
Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

100% would recommend if you like SRPGS!! The gameplay is challenging and fun, the characters are so charming and unique, and the story is a blast from start to finish. The team put so much love and care into this game and I can't wait to see how Rayna's story ends!!
Came for the insurance denial, stayed for the characters, story, and comedy. Also I came but thats besides the point

BLUF: Magnificent. No notes. Seriously. The only things missing are a actual Papers Please style paperwork level and the choice to have a male MC. Embark on your epic quest as the... INSURANCE ADJUSTER! And what plucky hero would be without their best friends, well, friend... The OFFICE HAT RACK! The comedy is Monty Python level. The action scenes are equal parts cheesy and intense. The mechancis are a bit basic and some of the missions really needed some more detail for whats expected. The reverse harem thing is also a bit odd, and I wish thered been a choice to play a male, but again, a nonstop delight.
Probably the funniest game I've played.
The Game looked fun but unfortunately the "humor" of these developers lies in making jokes about real issues in the workspace and overall riding on the absolute worst cliches of american work culture. If you dont mind getting privacy breaching sexist jokes thrown your way and working definitely for the wrong side, have fun.
Good story game. Some mechanical issues with the gameflow here and there. Dont expect too much and enjoy the ride.
Really enjoying it so far. If you are only into the visual-novel aspect, the lowest difficulty makes battles super easy to get through. Super pretty art, great voice acting, and subtle but very skilful animated features.
A game I would recommend. Its wasn't perfect, but it didn't have to be. Were it lacked in polish it more than made up with passion and love. From every dialogue and every option you take, you could tell that they really thought through every interaction. And in situations where they could have skimped on, they didn't. This game has made a solid imprint on my life, and I can't wait to continue on my own journey. And to look back on this game, and how much I enjoyed it an "above average" amount <3
This has perhaps the worst possible first impression I've had in quite some time. The first few hours were awful in terms of writing. The characters just threw out endless bad quips and were obnoxious tropes, the plot refused to take anything seriously in terms of stakes or worldbuilding, and when the humor doesn't land it is rough. This felt like a draft that was never refined from early builds. I powered through as I saw positive reviews and YES, it does improve in quality significantly to a point where I'm actually engaged and enjoy the cast. Strategy has started to evolve and become more indepth. The burnout/time management I find as a fun challenge to overcome, but I understand how it is polarizing. I'm starting to promote classes and see other builds, and the game is fun. To anyone immediately turned off by this game in the first few hours, I agree with that sentiment but I urge you to push on as the game eventually hits its stride. If any developers see this, I urge you to revise your prologue to prevent early fears and refunds.
