Leaving Lyndow

Great prologue

I have a feeling that Leaving Lyndow represents a future path to the textures that were previously only available to us in written works. We do not just have dialogue, scenes, let alone themes, that depend on individual words or sentences. This game embraces the beauty available by way of graphics and sound combined with player choices. I have played the game a few times, and I invited my wife to play once as well. We all experience life changes. This game helped me think about changes from another perspective, and that feels real and important. Like all good speculative fiction, this game is different from my/your reality, but bears similarities that promote critical thinking. We are always moving and we all leave somewhere/someone and have to think of the consequences. If you value meaningful ideas and discourse, this game is for you.

Not really great, weird default pov. Looks like some student game. Gates progress with boring and dull tasks. Leaving it for now.

short but has such pretty graphics and music. worth the dollar I paid for sure. 9/10

Really beautiful game! It makes sense given the devs' background in art! I got this to see if I would like Eastshade, and I'm definitely sold. The story was captivating, and I like all the small details put into this game (especially the cutscenes). It took me a little over an hour to complete, which is just my style. And of course, I had to download the soundtrack too, because it's that good! Side note: Usually 3d games are slow on my pc (bad GPU), but this one ran very smoothly, even at the highest graphics!

Attention, ce jeu est extrêmement court ; je ne suis pas certaine qu'en tant que tel, sans promotion, l'expérience soit une pure réussite. En revanche, pour moi qui ait adoré jouer à Eastshade il y a quelques années, je me suis replongée avec plaisir dans l'univers de Lyndow. Ce très petit jeu est une sorte de mise en bouche poétique et intrigante à Eastshade, bien plus développé mais prenant place dans le même univers onirique, chatoyant de couleurs, de sons et de lumières magnifiques. On ne peut qu'être émerveillé par la beauté des paysages et le ton des dialogues d'une grande douceur. Une petite-demi heure enchanteresse qui m'a fait beaucoup de bien !
