About
Leaks in Space is a 2D space-sim sandbox with a ship-building system. Complete station missions or investigate derelicts to gain Power Nodes. Fight to survive, manage your ship's integrity and internal pressure, and uncover the mysteries of the universe.

The ship builder allows you to create your own spaceship entirely from scratch by crafting ship parts that affect its combat capabilities and overall functionality. Craft ship parts using mined resources. You can save a ship design and build multiple ships according to your needs and available resources.

Manage your ship's integrity and internal pressure in combat. Protect your ship's Core to survive intense battles. Unlock high-tier railguns, shields, and turrets for better survivability. Fight the Space Pirates and other threats, and complete bounty quests to earn rewards.

Every station has 3 expansion stages; each stage is reached progressively by completing station objectives. When a stage is reached, the station grows and grants the player one Power Node as a reward. Power Nodes are then used in ship building to unlock functional powered ship parts like shields, turrets, boosters, and more.
Embark on a journey in Leaks in Space: something isn't right when a glitch throws you into a different star sector, where you discover unusual phenomena and learn about the Syntarians, a brilliant, now-extinct species from the planet Syntar, all while seeking a way back to your home world.
A relaxed, go-with-the-flow game where curiosity leads the way.

Our goal is to continue developing and evolving Leaks in Space, guided by player feedback and community support.

Reviews
This is not yet a playable game. This is just a proof of concept / tech demo. Not ready for Early Access.
Literally 5-10 minutes of complete and total gameplay. This EA Game costs $10 without discount. If this review was about the gameplay, it would be a good review with thoughtful commentary. This review is about total content included for the price of admission. There is 5-10 minutes of gameplay. Technically, there are unlimited minutes, but after 5-10 minutes, the player has seen and done everything in the game. I hate refunding anything on principle. It makes me feel bad.
I also hate buying something and needing to wait a year for any results.
At this time. I can only warn others that right now, this game is bare bones. There is a basic build system. there is one sector with way too many enemies and one station. Cause the tutorial is the station and that is the end of it. Its a concept that you have paid for now. may refund this if nothing comes up for updates. Since a build your ship is fun. But only if there is more game. Got a few build your ship games like avorion which has much more than this and that was before the updates. Hopefully, the creator(s) have the chance to make a galaxy map and make a few more sectors and general quests since it seems that you can do that... never mind the build system has limits which is sad. Will change this review to a positive if the condition of more updates is met and at least a few more sectors since there seems to be a half arse start to a story. Right now its all CONs since the game is barely a game.
I will give developers a benefit of the doubt. But this game shoud not have been released in the state that it is. It is NOT an early access game. It is a demo. and a pretty small one for it. HOWEVER! I see the potential. This might evolve into something great with enough polish and time. The basics are there and they are fairly decent, i would say! But right now - its barely a tech demo. Some things that, in my opinion, need to be improved: 1. Gameplay loop. There is currently almost none 2. Physics. They are decent-ish as it is, but i thing things need to have more momentum to them. it is space, after all. I feel like physics for a type of game like this are the most important. it NEEDS to feel good and impactfull. 3. More ship parts. Like WAY more ship parts. Right now there is barely anything to play with. Overall, a positive review for the potential. But you should have advertised this game as a DEMO. this is not a full game in any capacity at the moment.
I really liked the idea of this game to go around exploring the galaxy and collecting resources from asteroids and enemies and be able to build new things from that like different ships. Controls are nice and quite easy to grasp too. I really look forward to when the game will get some more content which should make this game even more interesting.
Seems like it could be promising! there is extremely little to do but thats not a reason to make a negative review. i do however wish the license limit was significantly larger tho.
good game I had a lot of fun finding bugs, and talking with the devs, on the demo I even played for 10h. While it dose need more content, it is being worked and it should be done soon. I still see no reason to leave a bad rev tho, why did other leave it? idk prob have no patienc or will change it with time
I wasted my teen years in the 80s playing Arcade games; most of them top down like this. This is a game that takes me back to those days, but this has far better content and much more of an open sandbox, than those games ever did. The music and graphics are top-notch, and the play style is relaxed and casual. It's has a few issues, and is a work in progress, but the Dev is accessible on the Discord Channel and is quite responsive. The concepts are simple and it's a nice change from more complex, fast-paced games, especially if you just want to chill, or think about other stuff in the back of your mind. It's fun to experiment with ship builds, and float around listening to the music, whilst exploring. I particularly like to observe the AI to see how they behave, and try different strategies (pushing rocks for example) to survive with what you have, against superior numbers.
READ "WHAT THE DEVELOPERS HAVE TO SAY:" I'm conflicted about thumbs up for potential or thumbs down as I can't recommend it as it is right now obviously. However it looks great I really like the graphics and I can see great potential in the game! Given more time and content by the creators, I'm 100% sure this will be an great game that I will happily play. But after docking with the station (after 5 min), there's nothing to do. No real gameplay at all at this point. I'm not sure if it's the main quest that bugged out or not but yeah. Good demo of what it might one day be and I'm really looking forward to seeing the development.
Developer Fixed my only problem with the game ! Now im very happy to give a good rating !
