Last Half of Darkness - Society of the Serpent Moon

The game was released in 2011, but it looks more like games from 2001. The production values are very low. Ugly graphics, stiff animations. The protagonist looks like an agent from The Matrix and talks like Batman. The game wants to be creepy and scary, but most of the time it just feels comical. The story doesn't make much sense, and although some of the puzzles are quite good, the gameplay and UI feel very unpolished. It's not a terrible game, but I can't really recommend it.

I've played played many point and clicks, and this series is probably the worst. The first game was the most tolerable, but the third and fourth were horrid. I truly do not understand anything that happened in any of the games.

A good game, good desigh, characters, atmosphere. Do not forget this package includes other old games you must run manually. I liked them too though I did used Internet a few times for a solution. I am not typically into point and click, but I found myself genuinely hooked by these rather straitforward tales.

I played all four of the games included in this store purchase. Disregard the 13 minutes. I didn't use the steam launcher for any of the games. I ran all of them using compatibility mode with Windows Vista selected. Each game will probably take well over 5 hours if you are not using walkthroughs. A couple of them could take significantly longer than that if you're a purist. I didn't find any of the puzzles to be overly challenging and most seemed fair but there were some EXTREMELY unintuitive moments that I had to use walkthroughs on, partially because I didn't want to spend crazy amounts of time on each game. When I found the solutions, my jaw dropped a couple times at the sheer absurdity of the answer. In other words, these are classic and very decent adventure games. I found the easiest game to be Tomb of Zojir and I think the hardest would be between the first two. I would also highly recommend to run the games as administrator if you are using Windows. I found that this fixed a lot of the crashes that I was experiencing. I could not get Shadows the of the Servants to not crash when using alt+tab or ctrl+esc. Note: There is also an extremely necessary fix for the games, especially Shadows, so that they do not run extremely slowly during certain sequences and puzzles. It is easy to find using any search engine. Overall these are challenging, atmospheric, and fun adventure games. I really liked the unique settings and overall feel and look of the games. I would recommend for anyone who enjoys unusual and unique horror themed adventure games.

Classic point a click titles, if you are a fan of the genre you have to play these (you get three games for the price of one)

L'intérêt de ce jeu réside essentiellement dans son atmosphère inquiétante (très bonne localisation, musique et sons angoissants) et son scénario. Les décors, très nombreux , sont très réussis, bien que peu animés et les cinématiques ne sont pas en reste.Les énigmes ne manquent pas mais sont un peu trop faciles à mon goût et pas toujours très originales. Bref , je recommande fortement ce jeu dont la durée est appréciable (un peu plus d'une dizaine d'heures pour moi) mais les amateurs d'énigmes ou de casse-tête ardus seront un peu déçus.

Lovely little Point Click Gem, this thing feels like it's straight out of the 90s - very cool. I recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a Point Click adventure and likes games like the old school Blade Runner or Alone in the Dark series.

A good indie old school adventure game. The graphics are simple but it gives a scary atmosphere to the game. The story and puzzles are very good. Um bom jogo independente no melhor estilo adventure old school game. Os gráficos são simples mas entregam uma ambientação assustadora ao jogador. A estória e enigmas são muito bons.
