Yes, I've only played about 30 minutes and I can already tell you, yes. I just paid less than a dollar for one of the chillest games you can have in your library. Worth it..
A pretty poor rhythm game. The three "zones" reuse a majority of the music between the 4 songs, so there might as well only be 4 songs. I think it could have been a cool gimmick game with the whole "Intel RealSense" tech, but otherwise is a boring and bad game.
dont like the controls
Very visually appeasing rhythm game. It's not very long but i enjoyed my time with it. The difficulty starts out easy and gets pretty challenging by the end of it.
音乐太单一了 经鉴定,属于一般喜加一
If you like games like REZ, you'll probably like this one. Pulse pounding music as you interact with it to help make more. This is a solid entry in that sort of style. Good music, a good style, interesting conceptually with the visuals as you play. I enjoyed it. The one other thing I'll mention, you'll probably play through all the levels in around 90 minutes, and I didn't have interest in replaying them as of yet.
This game is good! The gameplay is simple but fun enough. The score gives an extra purpose and additional replay value to this otherwise short game. The visuals are very fascinating and certainly add to the experience. The music is very underrated in my opinion; it sounds pretty chill and smooth. I think it's worth playing overall and is definitely a fun time.
Калище, с отвратительным визуалом, камерой и музыкой. В течение всей игры геймплей не притерпевает никакого развития. Даже не знаю, зачем я это купил...
It took me a while to figure out the controls, despite the instructions on screen. After getting that sorted, it seems that playing well doesn’t matter that much. The game is brute-forceable: if you just spam the controls with no rhythm whatsoever, you can still pass the level. I found the music rather repetitive, and your actions don’t really interact with the music. Picking up the molecules just makes a “tsch” sound but doesn’t add anything musically. Only in the harmonisation phase do your actions really seem to relate to the melody. The story is just some generic stills and objects from human life. I got bored with it after 70 minutes, didn’t play through all of it. It’s not terrible but I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe it’s more fun with motion controls. I played with a Switch pro controller.
Laserlife is a rhythm game set in space, where you play as an alien intelligence that is manifesting the memories of a dead astronaut by collecting memory molecules. To a funky beat, so it's less macabre. I enjoyed the unique controls. I used a controller rather than the "Intel® RealSense™ Camera" because they're expensive and I don't have one, but the controller was quite good anyway. You control two lasers with the analog sticks which you direct around the screen to hit the correct notes, sometimes using the triggers to collect the notes, sometimes not. Unfortunately for a rhythm game the music wasn't all that varied or particularly great. It was fine , but I'd prefer a rhythm game to have songs that I'd listen to outside of the game, whereas Laserlife does not. It was good in that it fit the theme, and it's a short game so there's not going to be a massive amount of songs there. However despite that, there's still a lot of repetition which made replaying levels across difficulties a bit bland. The achievements were good in that most are for "do the stuff in the game", mainly unlocking the memories by completing the levels. The hardest one was collecting every memory molecule, but you can do that on easy mode which is a lot simpler, but also more dull. Overall I enjoyed the time I spent playing Laserlife, but I'd only recommend it if you know what you're getting into. A "rhythm game" that's more about a single experience of a story than a game you'll keep coming back to because you enjoy it.
