It's... alright. I'd give this a neutral rating if that was a thing. The general concept of a PAC detective game in a steampunk setting is great, and overall the cases are interesting with a good amount of twists and turns. There's some nice world-building in there with fully fledged voice-acting and somewhat of an over-arching plot. But there are a few things that could be better and/or are lacking. There were plenty of times when I knew who the culprit was before obtaining all the clues/testimonies, but had to go through very linear set avenues of conversation or clues in order to unlock these deductions. The cases became very predictable in terms of gameplay too, in that [spoiler]an initial framing of the case happens (suspect 1), then the plot thickens (suspect 2), and then things are properly put together (suspect 3, i.e. the correct one).[/spoiler] And this only reaffirmed who the culprit really was without any kind of satisfaction or immersion. Being locked out of the rest of the case thanks to one wrong response was also very frustrating, especially when there were clear outstanding leads to pursue. The voice-acting at times can be really forced/over-acted which just made me want to skim-read what they were saying and skip over the audio. Your colleague's witticisms are funny at times, but the rest of the time can be a load of pointless cringeworthy filler. He also has to interject with *everything* which takes away a lot of being able to deduct things yourself during a conversation. I'd still recommend this game for a neat little detective game set in the steampunk era, if that's your sort of vibe. But definitely wait until it's on sale.

Großes Adventure Kino!

Ein sehr schönes Adventure mit toller Atmosphäre. Die Story entfaltet sich sehr gut über den Verlauf des Spiels und man wird in den Ermittlungen auch dafür belohnt, wenn man am Ball bleibt. Die Fälle können meist mit unterschiedlichem Ergebnis beendet werden, aber im Unterschied zu anderen Spielen ist die Ermittlungen des wahren Täters hier immer komplett möglich, sodass man am Ende keine Spekulationen anstellen muss, man weiß wer es war, Das Spiel hetzt einen nicht, hat einen guten Umfang, passende Grafik, gute Vertonung (Sprachausgabe sehr gut verständliches Englisch, deutsche Untertitel), eine gute Story und eine gute Balance zwischen Humor und Ernsthaftigkeit, wobei es immer unterhaltend bleibt. Ich finde es richtig gut.

A fantastic game with a world that is astonishingly compelling and vivid.

I get that the visuals are trying to be retro but you can have this art style without having the movements as clunky as this. Dialog is trying just a little too hard to be funny or add flair to a character, which feels cringe and also slows down the pace of the game too much for me.

High quality game. Focuses more on story than puzzles. Excellent word building an voice acting.

Big fan of adventure games but some of them are obtuse or too easy. This one does everything well and has a fun setting.

比較常見的主角搭配，一個負責正經另一個負責不着調吐槽，正經的也有小缺陷，吐槽的也有自己的堅守，不算特別有特色的角色設計。一共5個案件，只有第一個和最後一個有解謎要素（只有第一案的解謎有些繞），其他都是“讀故事”，沒有需要自己動腦的地方，完全是被故事帶著走就行。但是存檔確實有點問題，每個案子都只有一個自己的存檔點，開不了新的存檔，但是與人物對話又特別需要存檔，因爲這個游戲你一旦選錯，之後就再也沒機會重來了，也就是幾乎必須要在對話前存檔來保證自己能推到最終結局。除此之外沒什麽特別需要注意的了，更喜歡後面兩個案件的故事和人物，搭檔再也沒有回應的時候還是有點難過 大概是6/10
