About
Embark on a heart-pounding journey into the realm of nightmares with Labyrinthine, a cooperative horror game that will make you question your every step. Gather your courage and team up with friends as you enter the abandoned Happisburg hedge maze, or dive headfirst into the spine-chilling case files, where every investigation leads to unspeakable horrors.
Prepare to be gripped by fear as you encounter a variety of unique monsters, each with their own sinister AI and mechanics. Stay on your toes as you traverse the maze's twisted paths and unravel the dark secrets that lie within.

Labyrinthine offers two distinct gaming experiences. In the story mode, you will follow the enigmatic trail of Joan, the mysterious fairground worker, uncovering the maze's haunting history and facing terrifying challenges together.
However, if you're seeking the ultimate test of bravery, venture into the case files – procedurally generated mazes that promise endless variation and escalating difficulty. Each investigation reveals new horrors, forcing you to adapt and strategize with your fellow players. Solve puzzles, gather essential items, and survive the nightmarish encounters that await.
As you delve deeper into the case files, you will discover a leveling system that unlocks not only new monsters and maps but also rare cosmetics.
With cooperative play at its core, Labyrinthine encourages teamwork and communication to overcome the malevolent forces that lurk in the shadows. But be warned, in this maze of terror, splitting up may be your only chance to stay one step ahead of the lurking evils.
If you are a true horror enthusiast, Labyrinthine promises an experience like no other. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of dread and anticipation as you navigate the ever-changing maze, surrounded by the unknown.

LG FK (Franz Kafka)

it works well on desktop, terribly in vr. they seem to be using an old openvr plugin that is no longer fully supported, something like a vr mod with menu issues. no modern openxr. using the steam menu will cause the game to go into a sleep state permanently like many vr mods for desktop titles. i do not reccomend at all for vr currently. it does not use openxr as it has no option in steam what so ever for that setting, and the classic legacy plugin problems like menus causing the game to freeze.

En achetant le jeu, je ne pensais pas me ieche dessus à la vue d'un fantôme en carton sur les premiers chapitres, et foncer sur un cochon boucher sur les derniers chapitres...
"Labyrinthine" is a fun and engaging co-op horror game with a tense atmosphere and strong teamwork elements. Perfect to play with friends for some thrilling moments.
The developers of this game should PAY ME $10 to even look at this horrible creation. I have never wanted to quit video games so bad. I would rather spent 24 hours in prison showers dropping soap on the floor every 5 minutes. Absolutely atrocious experience that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. I am genuinely hoping the developers were under every substance imaginable when creating this abomination. The attempted story through sticky notes that are barely funny or relatable is just a cherry on top of this sleeper infuriating torture. I am planning on hit my head against the wall for the remainder of the night in hopes to forget what I just went through.
Ich kote mich ein
Great, but could be better!
I want to start off this review by saying that I absolutely appreciate this game for everything that it is. The jump scares actually got me, which is surprising, because I normally do not react to jump scares, anymore. But, the fact that I jumped plenty of times either due to something popping up at me, or a creature screaming/howling, proves to me that the designs were well thought out. I have played many horror titles, especially with friends of mine, and nothing has gotten me quite as scared as this game has. Here's why The level designs are extremely isolating. You feel claustrophobic, because the walls seem to creep in and never leave your side. Not to mention, the underlying story provides details that you are constantly being hunted by things beyond your imagination. The monsters, without seeing them, are terrifying. The sound design for them is very good! You typically hear them, before they are too close, and that gives you a split second to make a decision. Not to mention, when they do spot you, the adrenaline spikes, because the monsters make it apparent that they see you, too, and are going to get you. The safe rooms give a nostalgic feeling, kind of like Resident Evil games. And, the silence of the levels feel oppressing. Despite all of that, there are some glaring flaws. Let me explain... The puzzles in the beginning half of the game make sense, and you are told what to look for and how to get them. But, the later half of the game is not so cut and dry. The player can press "tab" to see their objective at all times, but after a few levels in, the game stops explaining why you are doing things. Instead, it gives you puzzles and tells you to fetch, at least that is what it felt like to me. Not to mention, that all of the levels are exactly the same rhythm. Instead of giving a variety of objectives level to level, the game has you doing fetch quests while avoiding monsters, and I'm not joking when I say that this is every-single-level. There were a couple levels, in the story mode, that made me stop being scared, and made me feel like I was just chilling. While that is not necessarily a bad thing, it definitely was not a vibe I expected from a horror video game. A few of the puzzles in the game were too long. They made you do too much, and you spent more running back-and-forth, looking for items, instead of being scared. Which, in turn, made this game a little annoying to play, at times. Overall, I do not want to bash this game, because it is not horrible by any means. I think the monster designs were amazing! I loved the fact that it is co-op, because my friends and I could play it with no lag or issue. Also, there is definitely love and attention put into the designs of the levels. If the levels and puzzles had more variety, I would gladly be glazing this game more, but I think It needs a little more work. Don't get me wrong, you will enjoy it, but I can't promise you will be coming back for more.
