About
Embark on a heart-pounding journey into the realm of nightmares with Labyrinthine, a cooperative horror game that will make you question your every step. Gather your courage and team up with friends as you enter the abandoned Happisburg hedge maze, or dive headfirst into the spine-chilling case files, where every investigation leads to unspeakable horrors.
Prepare to be gripped by fear as you encounter a variety of unique monsters, each with their own sinister AI and mechanics. Stay on your toes as you traverse the maze's twisted paths and unravel the dark secrets that lie within.

Labyrinthine offers two distinct gaming experiences. In the story mode, you will follow the enigmatic trail of Joan, the mysterious fairground worker, uncovering the maze's haunting history and facing terrifying challenges together.
However, if you're seeking the ultimate test of bravery, venture into the case files – procedurally generated mazes that promise endless variation and escalating difficulty. Each investigation reveals new horrors, forcing you to adapt and strategize with your fellow players. Solve puzzles, gather essential items, and survive the nightmarish encounters that await.
As you delve deeper into the case files, you will discover a leveling system that unlocks not only new monsters and maps but also rare cosmetics.
With cooperative play at its core, Labyrinthine encourages teamwork and communication to overcome the malevolent forces that lurk in the shadows. But be warned, in this maze of terror, splitting up may be your only chance to stay one step ahead of the lurking evils.
If you are a true horror enthusiast, Labyrinthine promises an experience like no other. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of dread and anticipation as you navigate the ever-changing maze, surrounded by the unknown.
Are you ready to face the darkness together, or will you succumb to the horrors that await? Step into Labyrinthine and find out if you have what it takes to escape the nightmare.

Reviews
The campaign will give you like 8 hours of decent horror experience, but the game really shines in the multiplayer co-op aspect. There are 19 maps that are procedurally generated mazes. You can also collect cosmetics by doing "Stamped" cases. This is one of those games that will excel as one of those "friday game night with friends for 2-4 hours each week games". The procedurally generated mazes themselves are also pretty unique, lets say you play 5 backroom map cases back to back, none will feel similar to each other. For $10 this game is worth it.

Starts off great but it becomes such a boring chore. It becomes more annoying than scary very quickly.
This game is freaking awesome. I mean, THE GRAPHICS. And the thrill! Compliments to the chef. That's all.

waste of time, terrible plot, god awful ending and unsatisfying. game needs further development
Labyrinthine: 9/10 Completion Time: 10 Hours A great and unique horror game that is especially fun with friends. Trying to find your way through the labyrinths was often times challenging, but it felt incredibly rewarding once you got to the end. It was also nice that everything you were given was essential and purposeful, such as the markers and glow sticks. You might not have needed them in the beginning mazes, but when you get into the mines, it really became confusing. The enemies felt well balanced and, of course, a little unsettling which added to the spooky atmosphere. The puzzles were also well balanced in that they made you think, but didn't over stay their welcome. Overall, I would recommend giving this game a go if you are looking for something outside of the typical co-op horror games that are filling the market.
미로가 답도 없이 넓은 것도 열받는데 스팀 평가가 매우 긍정적인 것도 열받음
Genuinely baffled at the amount of positive reviews. This game was a teeth grinding experience. I spent just about 1.3 hours in it with a couple friends, and was bored all throughout. The most fun I had all game was making a smiley face out of glow sticks. I wish I could refund this game twice. The story is something you'd see in a book written for 8th graders, the voice acting sounds like it's the developers' direct family that they asked to just read out some lines into a microphone, the assets all seem like they are flipped from the asset store (we noticed almost immediately that the hedges we were walking in for practically the entirety of our playtime were the same model copy and pasted over and over with zero variation, like you'll see the exact same leaf pasted 3 times in a row right next to one another). If there is ever a game that you can classify as slop, this is it. As the name suggests, you'll spend the majority of your playthrough walking through a boring, soulless, empty maze (riveting gameplay) until you occasionally come across a point of interest. Some of these then have puzzles in them, which will test whether you have the mental capacity of a 10 year old (half of them were even solvable through just guessing). Then, if you're lucky, you get to engage with the monsters in the game, which might as well be GMod PNGs running at you. All the while you're just being spammed with random 'scary' sound effect throughout. There is just nothing. It is simply one of those games you'd see a youtuber screaming at for content, but is in reality utterly devoid of anything interesting or engaging. I'd feel disappointed if this game was free, but they have the audacity to ask 10 bucks for it. I also tried it in VR, and had to turn it off after doing the tutorial because of how janky it was. Like, VR game of the year? Really? That had to be a rigged vote. TLDR: Avoid this game. Do not waste your money. My friend bought it for me as a gift, which means I can't refund it, but I'm tempted to personally make a steam support ticket in the hopes of getting him his money back regardless.
