An incredible and very gratifying experience with stealth, exploration and puzzles. The art style is simplistic, but uses the contrast of colors and designs excellently, it's very appealing. The stealth based gameplay, the interaction of things to distract or disarm, works very well, nothing too complicated but it does make you think and plan ahead. The exploration is also entertaining, being able to upgrade the tool or find collectibles are very good rewards. Everything is well polished, I didn't find any serious bugs, and also the progress is incredible, short but with different options and replayability. Some things I could highlight that I disliked, would be that the detection of enemies sometimes feels bad, like they see you from too far away, or directly ignore you, very random. Ah, and the bosses, meh, frustrating because of the gimmick you have to follow to defeat them, or boring because it takes a lot of hits, they are not bad (different and interesting designs and mechanics), but they are not very fun either. The truth is that it's fantastic, short but very creative, unique and full of passion, I loved it at (almost) every moment, absolutely recommended for anyone, it's worth it.

A lot of backtracking and slow stealth, but it’s decent for one playthrough. The story starts with an ordinary heist. The precious tiara is not carefully secured because everyone is at the celebration, and the task should be simple. However, as soon as you enter the building, terrorists attack the skyscraper. You're stuck now, and the only way out is to employ the talents and technology you discovered within. The game is entirely about stealth. The thief has no offensive or defensive abilities other than dashing away and performing a flashy cartwheel. All you can do is duck and stick to walls, allowing you to see around corners. However, you receive your most valuable tool, Codebreaker, immediately after entering the building. Its primary function is to create distractions and unlock doors. Because the device's range is limited, you must use it in close proximity. Hacked equipment emit a sound and attract opponents, allowing you to escape. Some doors and equipment may have a higher level, thus you will need to obtain higher clearance before hacking them. You’re silent, so you don’t have to sneak all the time. Your visibility is hard to figure out because enemies don’t show their field of vision. They see far and can notice you very fast, but not through fences or when they’re distracted. You will go through several floors. Despite the simple design and colors, the game incorporates many nuances that bring the settings to life. You will be creeping into offices, hallways, storage areas, and other places. Saving occurs automati cally whenever you enter a new floor or section of a floor. Fortunately, floors aren't very big, so you won't waste time. The codebreaker also includes map capabilities, but you must first locate the floppy disk. The map is quite handy because it displays everything important, including door levels and valuables. There are also secondary floppy disks that improve codebreaker's usability by extending its range and even introducing new capabilities like as noise generator and electric shock. This creates a somewhat repetitive backtracking gameplay each time you gain range or new ability. New floppy disk usually means a trip back to some other floor. More important disks are guarded by bosses. Since you don’t have fighting abilities, you need to dodge and wait for an opening to use the codebreaker.
An excellent little top-down stealth experience that'll last a few hours depending how much you want to complete. The art style isn't the most compelling or polished thing ever, but the mechanics and puzzle design are top notch. We just don't see many stealth games like this anymore, at any level of budget, so this was really refreshing to see. Definitely check this out if you like MGS1, Volume, or other similar games. Especially for a few bucks, this is one of the best pure stealth experiences in modern times.
was a solid game puzzles were decently challenging, and the fact there are multiple endings makes it a great value.
I rather liked this game. First playthrough took me about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The small puzzles had me for a bit but after a while i understood it. second playthrough took me 1 hour and 30 mins and i love that not every playthrough has the same answers. I would definitely play again. I love the small easter eggs. It took me back to the good ole stealth games like splinter cell and metal gear solid. I feel like this game is worth more than what I paid for sure! I high recommend this game if you love stealth.
DOOD! what a game! making choices to get the different endings and the unique mini bosses that give you clearance to fight the BIG BAD of this game.
La Sombra is an excellent stealth game with visuals inspired by Saul Bass. The game gets so many things right: the controls are tight, the music is both perfect and low enough to not be distracting while also providing that classic heist movie vibe, the level design is top notch, and finding your way through is both challenging and fun. My only gripes with this game are extremely minor: I wish there were multiple game save slots, there was a health pickup I couldn't ever pick up for some reason. Aside from that, there's really not much at all. This is a very good game that I was delighted to play even though I'm typically not good at games like this. Kudos to the developer.
