Stardew but better? Stardew but better.

Really fun mechanics. There is a LOT going on in this game. A lot of details, a lot of minigames, a lot of relationships. I am intermittently clumsy and intermittently busy. I was a little worried. But the mechanics of the game are such that you can tool around on your pig and just do what's in front of you with no strategy and still stage yourself to get decent results. When you get a chance to actually lock in and pay attention, you can get GREAT results. And the results stack with each other in fun ways. This minigame sets you up to do better at that minigame. AND.... you can focus on what you want to do and automate the stuff that doesn't thrill you. You don't get as good results as when you're paying attention and doing it yourself, but you do get to focus on what you like. Also, I really like the relationships. Stardew and Fields of Mystria have more text and more "romantic" moments. But the friendships in Kynseed are important pieces of gameplay. There are things you simply can't accomplish unless you have friends. And my family in Kinseed are more than just cosmetic, they're pivotal to gameplay. I also like the dialogue, though a high tolerance for dad jokes is a plus. The characters have interesting stories and quirks, and I enjoy my spouse in this game a lot more than in the 'Dew or Mystria. (Not that they aren't fine games in their own right.) The worst thing about this game is also the best. After 60 hours of gameplay, I'm still only sort of seeing how it all fits together. But I'm still fascinated to see where it's going! My foraging increased due to relationship increases from villagers, and with higher foraging I could make better blacksmith stuff, and now I'm actually able to go deeper in combat. Whether I'm feeling sharp and looking at the big picture or feeling like a zombie and barely paying attention, I still have a good night gaming. Pretty well done.

Intuitive play for the most part. Easy to navigate and understand - not overly complicated. New content unlocked through progression which keeps it fresh. Not stressful - you set the pace. Nice game to unwind with at the end of the day.

This game deserves a lot more downloads and praise. If it's on discount, definitely get your hands on it. I love the mixture of casual Stardew valley like gameplay + fantasy tropes that can be a bit darker (and make sense when you get older, that you didn't pickup on when a child). Absolutely love the game and hope it gets more attention and more updates!!

Harvest Moon's extremely weird cousin.

Pros: unique theme, deep story, multiple territories to unlock, elements from fables and mythologies. Cons: art is a little busy for my 17" screen, you need to use online resources to figure out how to unlock certain things - but maybe I need subtlety applied with a hammer. Overall - i'm 50 hours in and I'll easily go another 50 or more.

So this little game was suppose to be a In between game I wanted to relax and have fun. This is a timevoid! If you love farming games! I love the way the game is made that your character can die and that their child takes the mantle. It has a great variety of farming, mini games, turn base battle, skill leveling and you can event own shops! It has it all and you need to put lots of time in any part of the game you want to explore. It has no ''real'' ending, so take your time and enjoy the passing of time :)
