<Story>
Even in death, Kugayama Shiori takes her own life.
Maybe her next will finally be her last.
But no matter how many times she dies, her soul refuses to leave this world.
Maybe the answer lies in her lost memories.
Maybe there's a lingering attachment she's forgotten.
Other than her name, she remembers nothing.
Who was she?
Why did she die?
Together with you—the only living person who can still speak to her—
Shiori begins her search for her memories, and for the truth behind her death.

Really good, actually teared up abit at the end of true ending <3
i bought this game randomly because i was bored and didnt know what else to play plus it was on sale. but after i just beat the true ending i can confirm it is a 10/10 game. it had me crying like a baby
I bought the game on a whim because I like the premise of a ghost who is trying to find the cause of her own death, and horror mystery mixed with comedy is right up my alley. I did not expect such a well written story, with many twists and turns that all felt very natural. The story always shares enough information to leave you wondering while allowing you to make your own hypotheses, and often enough, hides some foreshadowing elements in places you would not expect. In the end, it all comes together so very well. The story is fairly short. I was listening to most of the voiced dialog, and, reaching the true end, I reached the estimated 10 hours. If you read the story at a regular reading speed and do not hunt down the alternate endings (the ones I have found so far reached from "okay, that's cute" to downright hilarious, though I have yet to read the Normal End), you will definitely finish the story significantly quicker. On the topic of voices, the entire story is voiced, except for the input from the Main Character (not Shiori, but the person the reader takes the role of), but these segments are very short, and are mostly just choices. The voice acting is very pleasant to listen to, both in the voice cast and in their performance (hence why I tended to let the voiced dialog finish most of the time). Choices made in this game, as far as I can tell, don't have too much impact most of the time. In most cases, it is either a short branch with a differing reaction from a character, or it very quickly leads to a Game Over (not an Ending) that you can immediately go back to so you can select the other choice. However, there are some choices (mostly in form of which location to visit (either before the others, or if you visit them at all)) that will greatly alter the outcome of the story, and will lead to the other Endings of the game. That said, these alternate Endings are also just slightly longer branches compared to the Bad Endings. From what I have seen so far, so the biggest difference you get from your choices is between Normal and True Ending. Long story short, if you like a comedic horror mystery and don't mind the depiction of dying ghosts (the death shown in the screenshots on the store page is probably the most graphic one, so if you don't mind this, you should be fine), then I can only recommend buying this VN.
