For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wow - why all the negativity? having FINALLY finished the game I have to say that overall I had a blast. "THE GREAT BRIDGE" sequence near the end was a bit irritating, but I made it easier by turning vsync off (so the game responded to my actions quicker) and increasing the "aim guide" that I hadn't realised was a thing until I went looking for settings to speed up rendering. TBH I'm not sure that the aim guidance improved my aim at all, I'm just relieved to have made it out alive. Fans of the Monsterverse should pick it up during a sale.
This is a very conditional recommend, as overall, while I enjoyed the game and would give it a 6/10 personally, it's got quite a few things holding it back from being a universal recommend to fans of 2D Metroidavania-lites, including the fact that you absolutely need to be a fan of the source material to enjoy it. Also recommend at $15 or less only. Basically, this is a "sequel" to Godzilla VS Kong, while utilizing Jonah and his faction as the primary antagonists from KotM. The story isn't particularly engaging, the voice acting is pretty rough and it's short, but for Monsterverse fans, what's going on and why will be neat, if only for adding another Kaiju to the family. The gameplay is rough and clunky; you can argue some of it is because you play as a relatively "normal" dad trying to save his daughter, but it doesn't excuse how stiff it feels. Imagine the combat/platforming from Arkham Origins Blackgate as a comparison, but possibly even more stiff. Level design is basic with no optional areas(just optional singular rooms with upgrades), basic puzzles involving sliding boxes, switches and platforming. Backtracking is nearly nonexistent in terms of exploring for upgrades, but you will go through some sections with new equipment for the main path. Enemies grow old fairly fast, with no traditional boss fights, BUT there are some nice environmental kills and unique interactions with physics that elevate combat to be a bit more strategic than your average 2D Metroidvania. The standout moments are when the Kaiju come. Seeing them animated and doing their thing in the backround is always nice, but the real highlights is when you are being chased by Kong, Abaddon, Tiamat, etc and must haul ass through platforming and puzzle sections with surprisingly little room for error. The final stretch has two actively fighting eachother as you try to dodge and escape them and it was genuinely cool. Think of this as the first Godzilla monsterverse movie: overall kind of boring and dull and absolutely not worth watching twice, but the impact of seeing the monsters for the first time and the chase/fight sequences being big moments of catharsis between the standard monotony. If you're a Monsterverse fan, a fan of Metroidvania design(again I must stress that it's VERY basic and more a straightforward 2D action platformer with some lite metroid elements), AND can get the game for $15 or less, I think you'll enjoy the 5-6 hours overall it takes to finish the game.
