Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
It's incredibly pretty. The level design is good. It's so close to being a good game - but the movement feels sloppy. Running feels slow, ledge grab mechanics feel off, the axe swings don't feel satisfying Minor QoL gripes too, like how quick saving takes a couple seconds, no chest/item tracker, and there's no fast travel (as of the part of the game I'm at - maybe it unlocks later?). The art direction clearly has a lot of talent behind it, and I so badly want to like this game, but it just fundamentally doesn't control that well. it doesn't feel as tightly crafted when compared to other games in the genre. Addendum: After 100% completion, I can confidently give this game a "Do not buy"/ 10. I've seen everything there is to see in this game, and it wasn't worth. The controls are just fundamentally dogwater.
𝔸 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕗𝕦𝕝 𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕙 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘
Itorah immediately catches your attention with its gorgeous hand-drawn visuals, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Every area feels full of personality, making exploration rewarding even when I wasn't actively chasing objectives. The world has a distinct identity that sets it apart from many other metroidvanias; it's set in a world of native Americans, filled with ancient aztec masks, mayan artifacts and ancient ruins to explore. The gameplay strikes a nice balance between platforming and combat. Neither aspect overstays its welcome, and unlocking new abilities gradually opens up more of the map without feeling overwhelming. I especially appreciated how smooth the controls felt, which made traversing the environments enjoyable from beginning to end. While there are moments where the difficulty spikes a bit, they never overshadow the overall experience. Between the memorable art direction, atmospheric soundtrack, and satisfying exploration, Itorah ended up being a pleasant surprise that I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a visually striking adventure. The story is also very appealing and mysterious, with Itorah (your main character) rediscovers her past in pieces as she explores new ruins and meets new strange NPCs. The only drawback of the game in my opinion, is how it failed to implement a Fast Travel system. Backtracking with newer powers to collect treasures you've missed seems like a chores rather than morbid curiosity. You'd have to spend hours just backtracking for treasures if you want to fully explore evertyhing, and when you do, the treasure you usually find contains nothing of importance. 8/10. Also the ending is not satisfactory at all... Anyways! It's a short platformer of 5 hours tops (I played it for 10 because... I like to explore lol)
A definitive non-recommendation. Itorah may grab your attention with inspired visuals and the occasional very low sale price, but once acquired, it does nothing to retain it. On the contrary, it soon displays some aggravating qualities that, in my case, made me put the controller down for good. As a 2D Metroidvania, one would probably expect decent movement and combat controls, an engaging upgrade/skill system, and a more or less interesting map. Sadly, none of that is present. The movement is floaty, and you WILL miss bounce jumps because of it—and that means redoing lengthy vertical sections. The combat is equally clunky, and, of course, the enemies are just a bit spongier than feels comfortable; defeating enemies yields laughable amounts of currency, especially when compared to upgrade shop prices. The map is unnecessarily stretched horizontally, with tedious sections that are mostly straight lines with occasional bumps—sections you can't run through because, you guessed it, STAMINA. If all that wasn't enough, you have absolutely no reason to explore the lushly painted, nook-and-cranny-rich levels, for in 90% of those nooks and crannies, there is nothing of value or interest. I could go on about the game, but I guess I've already spent way more time on it than it deserves.
I think this is the lowest recommendable for a metroidvania. Mobility is bad because it uses acceleration instead of flat speed. Upgrades are quite basic, the story is not that good either. There are far better options to play, still I think it is acceptable.
🔰 Einstieg
🔄 Grind
📝 In Aller Kürze

Wunderschöne handgezeichnete Grafik 🎨
Solides, flüssiges Platforming ⛰
Eher ruhige, mystische Story 🧾
Wenig Grind, entspannt spielbar 🧘🏻♂️
Mittlerer Schwierigkeitsgrad 🌗

the visuals and music are breathtaking, easily the best parts of the game, though the controls feel frustrating at times and getting around the map becomes painfully slow without any fast travel option. 7/10.
Highly recommend this game if your a fan of 2D, side scrolling, Metroidvania and platform game. Nice story, visuals good and soundtrack nicely done. 10/10.
Despite the pain of this game is beautiful, both in terms of music, bosses, and especially the beautifully painted levels, but my God the controls are terrible. Sometimes catching edges works, sometimes it doesn't. The jumping is even worse, instead of doing what it's supposed to do, it seems like every time I want to jump somewhere it takes a really long time and when it decide to jump it jumps too little or too much and i end up falling. theres no fast travel like none so you have to walk by urself everywhere.
