If this were a real arcade game you could tell it was the best one from the sweaty buttons.

Not my usual type of game, but can't say no to Kobolds. Art style's nice too.

The gameplay loop is uncomplex but engaging, the controls feel responsive, and the design/style is wonderful. If you like 2D arena brawlers, you'll probably have a good time with this. It's not exactly a huge game but what is there is very good, a steal at 7 dollars.

Kobold Castle reminds me a lot of playing flash games in the early and late 2000s, especially when I was on Neopets all the time during school. Its art style is charming and cartoony, and its gameplay is a rather simple if hectic loop of mob farming, made more complex as newer enemies are added to complicate your plans. If you like 2d hack and slash, I think you'd enjoy Kobold Castle. Its simple, fun, and adorably silly.

Really enjoy the game. Simple game play mechanics and cute characters.

Much better than Starfield

Pure kobold energy!

All of the different playable kobolds and their hyena adversaries are bursting with charm thanks to inspired, hand-animated visuals + fun and punchy sound effects. Kobold Castle is a great game clearly made from love with tons of surprising details and an addicting arcade-style gameplay loop

Okay I've only played a little bit of this game but I can already tell I love it. The art is amazingly charming and well-animated, all of the character designs are great and the gameplay loop is satisfying. If the developer is listening, I'd love for some form of multiplayer to be added. This game begs to be tackled with a friend, it's perfectly suited for co-op or competitive modes. But this is really great work! Looking forward to what the developer does next.
