Kitty Powers has been a part of my life for over a decade.
As sentimental as it may seem, it is true. This game has grown up with me. When I first was introduced to Kitty, it was by watching the Youtuber Kpopp play Matchmaker game way back when. Then I had to get the game for myself, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve played this game since I was in high school, my best friend and I playing it together after class on my phone. Now, eleven years later we’ve upgraded to playing it together on my PC. This game takes the original game's premise and expands on it. It's a light city builder and it really features a lot of cool ways to get to know your clients. Through fun minigames, you get to accompany your couples through their dating life and eventually married life until they finally move out of town and rough it on their own. I loved this game on mobile, and I think it is better suited to that format, but I still love it on PC as well. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice game just to chill and play but that isn't super easy either. Long story short, these games have been a part of my life for a long time. As dramatic as it may sound, I love these games and everything about them. I've grown up with this game and I'm so glad I've gotten to experience over ten years with Kitty.
If you couldn't tell by my played hours, I'm obsessed with this game. 10/10
It's like Sims but more personal with the characters and less complex. I like it how you can add the couples you pair off in Kitty Powers' Matchmaker to this game and play out how their relationship continues. You can customize a lot of things from your own city to the characters appearance and jobs. A lot of different problems in form of mini games, that are similar to the first game - quirky and fun, not too easy and not super hard. This game has some harder to get achievements, than the Matchmaker game. Iv'e been playing for 11 hours and I've only gotten one so far! (Maybe its a skill issue....) It's a shame that Kitty Powers games don't get talked about a lot, they really deserve more recognition.
Sadly, the more I played this game, the less fun I had. After the novelty wore off it's too repetitive and too much hassle :( which is really too bad cus I loved kitty power's matchmaker, but this game just doesn't come close for me.
I've had this game sitting in my library for a good while. I wish I played it sooner it's really fun! love the first game too. I think it's a bit unfair that people are comparing the first game to the second one, they're clearly meant to be two different things but just have the same couple matching theme. I have no complaints. BTW I love you Kitty <3333
Bro i play this everday it's so fun
I have some extra hours tracked because sometimes I would leave my laptop idle for a couple of hours, but I have indeed played this game for hours. It helps empty my mind and just think of how to best manage silly fictional relationships. The achievements aren't that easy to get, so it triggers my completionist side too, which is another reason why I've kept coming back to this game. In conclusion, just buy this if you want something simple and entertaining.
Honestly this is one of those games that really helps get me out of my head. The art is cute, it's pretty funny, and although it can get repetitive this game is just so cute and fun!
great time waster and worth a shot if your part of the l g b t q+ or straight and worth the money
