Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 11 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

One night, in 1987, in the small town of Miami, Arizona, a satanic cult unwittingly summons the ancient evil, Baphomet, catapulting the town into chaos. John, awoken by the kidnapping of his neighbor, sets out into the night to fight back against the demonic invasion and rescue his friends before it's too late...
Take control of John as his adventure leads him through an hour-by-hour experience of what could be everyone's last night on Earth. As John, you will encounter unearthly evils, Demon lords, afflicted townsfolk, high school bullies, and a torrent of engaging, serial-like side stories – all nested in a larger-than-life fantasy that brings the ultimate evil to a neighborhood near you.
Choose your class, customize your abilities, and battle nightmarish creatures as you collect unique gear in order to infiltrate the massive lairs of Demon lords that have taken over the town.

Take down the town’s demons as you get closer to unraveling Baphomet’s grip on Miami. Explore the entire map of the town, interact with a wide cast of NPCs and take on the Demon Generals in the order that you wish.
Choose from 5 different classes: Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer and Sorcerer. Each class excels differently, providing a unique play style depending on your choice. The class you choose decides your base style, while the skill trees allow for further customization.
Skill trees are split into three branches, containing 10 different talents each. As you level up, spend allotted points into any of the three branches of your class. Once you have reached level 10 in your first branch, you are free to cross over into another branch, allowing you to fully customize your play style.
Outfit yourself with new equipment via quest rewards, hidden items throughout the town, and scoring random drops from a multi-tiered loot system with variable drop rates. Items range from common to completely unique. The items you collect provide an extra dimension to character stat development and have special abilities that will make you even more powerful.
You don’t have to face the forces of darkness by yourself. In Kingdom of Night, either play through the campaign as John alone, or with a friend in local co-op. Team up and synergize different character classes, becoming a torrent of annihilation that the underworld will fear.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Nintendo, Xbox publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Pixel art, Stranger Things/80s aura, low price point; I expected a simple, decent to mediocre indie game -- instead I was constantly surprised at the quality and depth. The dialogue is clever and, at times, quite funny. The class and stat system is fleshed out for a hack and slash. The magic wielding option is radically different. The world/areas are massive from what I was expecting. Some quests require some thought. Some exploration/dungeons can feel lengthy and tedious, but the chapter boss sections all are very different experiences. The real standout, though, is the story. It could've been trite and straightforward. Instead we are anchored by recognizable characters going through chaos rooted in mystery. The mystery unfolds at a commendable pace to a surprising level of complexity in depth, lore, and themes. Despite the stakes raising, it keeps the story grounded of your teenage character centered on his peer group. There's themes that are not new, but the overall architecture of the story is incredibly original. Strongly brought back memories of Crono Trigger and FF7.

its okay, Iwas hoping for more story and less running around giant maps trying to figure out what to do. I think some people may like it a lot but I felt it was missing something and got bored.
Really fun game! I ran through it on Easy and got all the achievements in under 20 hours. Would LOVE a New Game+ mode and the ability to get more keychains.
Fun game, love the magic mechanics. runs amazing on steam deck too.
Combat can be a bit repetitive but story, setting, and sound design are all awesome. Really enjoyed my time. Later 'bater.
This game exceeded expectations. I loved every bit of it even if combat got a little bit too repetitive, it still held my interest with the fun quests and beautiful style. Each attack felt super satisfying which made me want to play it more. I did almost everything besides the last achievement. Spoilers lightly below... I often think most games fall flat toward the end, however not this one. I cried multiple times and felt very attached to the extra characters even if they weren't around as often as I would've liked. Jimmy was HILARIOUS and then the ending made me CRY. My only complaint was how dark the game was at times. I love that feature, obviously, it added to the grittiness, but it made looking around and exploring a little difficult on the eyes. Play this game! This was a passion project for sure!
If you want a 2nd-screen game with breezy gameplay that'll remind you of old games like Veil of Darkness -with genuinely good writing - it's an easy recommend. 15 hours to completion, fairly thorough - mindless but fun action, a little too much empty exploration over slightly-too-large maps still ends up fun as a painting-the-map activity, but those are minor nitpicks for the type of game. Really excellent work from a really small team, loved it.
It's a little rough around the edges, but man this game nails the style and atmosphere. Combat is ok once you get used to it, but it's a lot more slow and considered than I would have expected. Be prepared for minimal hand holding, something you used to see in games all the time. I love this game but completely understand why some might bounce off of it.
This is good stuff. Story is really well written, it reminds of everything good in that era, Steven King books, Twin Peaks, many horror movies of 80s. It might not look like much at first, but it's surprisingly captivating. Also could be really dark and depressing at times. Setting, lore, atmosphere, all adds up to pretty unique dare I say product. It can be buggy at times, I def couldn't finish some small sidequests cuz I've met some npcs or did some other prerequisites out of order, but nothing game breaking, main story+all major sidequests were doable (and awesome). Highly recommend to anyone who loves Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps, Steven King (esp The Stand and It novels, but especially The Stand) and everything 80s horror. Oh, also combat is pretty good, not overly complicated, yet engaging (esp for caster classes). Def hidden gem for me and hopefully for you too!
