Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
King’s Bounty: The Legend is a fan-favorite classic fantasy adventure and an early entry into the modern King’s Bounty era, built around tough battles, smart decisions, and turn-based tactics.
You play as a royal treasure hunter, sent to explore the lands of Endoria in search of gold, glory, and ancient secrets. Your journey takes you through lively towns, untamed wilderness, and perilous dungeons, each playing a role in a story that begins simply but grows into a tale filled with twists, surprises, and a memorable ending.
Your adventure in Endoria blends real-time exploration with turn-based tactical combat. The world feels alive as you travel, while battles focus on positioning, morale, army composition, and smart use of magic. Success depends on preparation and strategy rather than quick reactions.
Choose from three different hero types - Warrior, Paladin, or Mage - each offering a distinct playstyle, unique abilities, and different approaches to progression. A wide variety of creatures, spells, and artifacts allows you to experiment with strategies and build armies that suit your preferred way of playing, giving the game strong replay value.
King’s Bounty: The Legend invites you to become a hero in a fantasy world of fearless knights, evil mages, wise kings and beautiful princesses. Explore the land, command armies and accomplish quests for your king to reap great rewards... Or suffer devastating defeats.
Real-time exploration meets turn-based tactical battles: Freely explore the world in real time, then switch to deep, turn-based combat where positioning, timing, and preparation decide the outcome.
Deep, puzzle-like tactical combat: Battles are built around smart decisions, army composition, spell usage, and morale - not reflexes or brute force.
Addictive “one more battle” progression loop: Constant rewards, new units, artifacts, spells, and upgrades create a steady sense of progress that keeps the adventure moving forward.
Meaningful army-building and unit synergies: Recruit a wide variety of creatures and build armies around morale bonuses, abilities, and tactical combinations.
Three distinct hero classes: Play as a Warrior, Paladin, or Mage - each offering unique strengths, skills, and different approaches to combat and progression.
A large hand-crafted fantasy world: Dozens of locations and battlefields - both on the surface and in the dungeons. Travel through towns, wild landscapes, and dangerous dungeons filled with quests, secrets, and powerful rewards.
A dynamic world that doesn’t wait for the player: Enemies roam the map, pursue their own goals, and actively stand in your way, turning exploration into part of the challenge.

10/10 Obłęd, rozpierdol i poezja w jednym.
Such a beloved and great game. Every once in a while I'll reinstall and play. 10/10.
An amazing game absolutely worth recommending. Jan 4, 2012, 8 minutes. LAST PLAYED
8/10 Finished campaign on normal. Use cheat Engine to fastforward game speed for animations and backtracking otherwise you are spending 75% of your time watching spell and troop animations. Some people recommend you to play crossworld because its just this game but better, while that is true its a direct sequel with alot more content, its also alot harder and more complex, this game will teach you the bases so you can then go to crossworlds much better headed and not make crucial mistakes at the beggining that will cost you alot on a bigger campaign. I had played crossworlds before but didn't finish, this game is not easy, and it's very unique so your skill from other games will not transfer, there is a reason this game still has people playing I will give a list of pros and cons and at the end a bunch of tips I learned and will use when playing crossworlds. Pros: -Tactical Gameplay is required and the game promotes you to change items and troops to tackle different zones/bosses/enemies -The open world is beautiful and exploration is well rewarded(almost mandatory). -80% of the game is randomized, enemy positions, items in stores, unit availablity, item availability. this means you have to adapt, use what you have. -Achievements added and modern system fixes on latest QoL patch. -Replayability. Each run is generated and while the quests are the same the tools that you have are going to be different. Cons: -Cheat Engine is mandatory to speedup engine, I would not have played this game without it, even on fast animations they are slow. I would expect the QoL patch to address this somehow. -Dialog and story are mid-bad, Darion(Main Land) clearly had alot of love, the sidequests and npcs mention each other and alot of questlines have you interact with different zones on the mainland, this is mostly scrapped after you move to the other islands, sometimes there are some quests that make you backtrack and mention people from other lands but its very rare and most of the time the travel time is so long that they are not worth to tackle. I would say only really pay attention to the dialog of the main quest. - Travel Time, I feel like a fast travel option would have been so much better, the fact that you only unlock the quick travel from certain places AFTER you complete the main quest there doesnt really make sense, because as soon as you are done with the mainquest you rarely go back to that zone, I need the fast travel WHILE im doing the quests there. - Side quests are alot of the time useless, they are not very rewarding, the amount of time you spend with some quests backtracking for them to give you half the XP of an easy fight is diabolical. - OST could be better. Tips: - Open World exploration and juke, you are supost to use it gather troops and visit shops that are on higher level zones, take advantage of high level units that STOMP in the early and midgame. - Sometimes troop loss is not that bad, you should not be losing troops on every battle, but main quest battles or big fights that will unlock a new zone or a few shops that might have more troops/items might be worth taking a hard fight and loosing some buddies. You dont need to be that much focused on never loosing troops the later zones have a very high number of units available. - Everyone uses spells, mages might be more focused but even as warrior or paladin use your spells as much as you can. - Same goes for your little pets, try to unlock them ASAP as they are strong and should be used constantly. - Progress the mainstory, its worth it. - Watch item and unit synergy, its highly rewarded. - If you have a hard fight that is constantly taking some high level troops, maybe buy something from the closest shop and use it as sacrifice for that fight. - Get a wife(more item slots) - Dont be afraid of using money to buy items at the start, they might make the difference you need to progress easier. - QUICKSAVE QUICKSAVE QUICKSAVE this game was made for you to constantly "savescum" dont be afraid of using it to relplay fights, dodge mobs. ALSO allways quicksave before talking to anyone, sometimes you will be forced to fights you dont want to take.
One of the best games ever, as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't have some QoL improvements of the later games, but the atmosphere, music, battles, exploration are top notch.
its realy cool game
