The game is broken. Wont launch and locks up your PC, forcing you to do a force restart to reset. They do not answer their messages about a fix and they haven't fixed with an update. They know of the issue since they have a old page about how you can try to fix the issue yourself by changing stuff within the game files... Not good and nowhere near worth the trouble

Killing Floor is one of those games I wish I had played sooner. It’s a co-op survival horror FPS from Tripwire Interactive that originally released in 2009, and even though it’s an older game, I actually had a pretty good time with it. The main thing I like about Killing Floor is how simple the idea is. You’re basically fighting through waves of enemies, getting better weapons and equipment as you go, and trying to survive until the final boss. You can play by yourself, but the game is really designed around co-op, with up to six players working together. I also really like the different classes, or Perks, because they give you different ways to play. You can specialize in things like healing, support, explosives, or different types of weapons. It gives you a reason to keep playing and leveling up your character. The weapons are also pretty fun. There are a lot of different weapons to use, and shooting the enemies feels satisfying. The enemies can get pretty crazy too, especially when you start getting into the harder waves. The game can go from being manageable to completely chaotic really quickly. One thing I wasn't expecting was how much content there actually is. There are a ton of maps, weapons, achievements, and community content, and Steam currently lists 285 achievements for the game. The graphics definitely show the game's age, though. This is a 2009 game, and you can tell. Some of the character models, environments, and animations look pretty dated compared with newer games. But honestly, I don't think that takes away too much from the experience. I also like that Killing Floor doesn't try to be something it isn't. It's mainly about jumping into a game, shooting monsters, surviving waves, and having fun. There's a story and a setting behind everything, but the gameplay is definitely the main focus. Overall, I enjoyed Killing Floor. It's an older game, but it still has a lot of fun gameplay, especially if you have friends to play with. If you like zombie games, survival games, or games where you fight through increasingly difficult waves of enemies, I think Killing Floor is definitely worth checking out.
