not too much there yet but its fun, great flavor in the animations
This game is amazing!!! I really liked the story levels available. The music is great! Especially on the GenXArcade level, that song is really special. This game has had a lot of love and care put into it and it shows in the incredible art, design, and music. Superb typing game!!!
So I found this game at PRGE 2025 and I was instantly addicted. If you ever saw Typing Of The Dead, this is a better version of that game style, with more tongue-in-cheek humor and a better game play mechanic. Accuracy is more important than speed which gives you a real chance to enjoy the graphics while you're learning to become a touch-typist. The Arcade levels are very entertaining and offer a wide variety of challenges. The story mode shines and is well developed. At $5 this is an insta-buy in my book!
Saw this game recommended on a YouTube video--cannot remember whose YouTube video it was that suggested it. Decided to grab it--as I do enjoy silly quirky Typing Tutor type games I mean, I'm still working on "being as cool as James" in the various releases of Typing of the Dead XD XD XD It is a pretty solid game, that seems like it would be a bonus play mode in a much more full typing tutor game. The sort of bonus play mode that only has a small bit to it, that you get super annoyed at how limited it was, and wanted a full out game doing that sort of stuff Here, you get the full game version of that silly bonus game from a typing tutor game--and none of the typing tutor lessons, works or even reports on where you need improvement and all that .... so... I'm not certain how educational of a game this actually stands to be... I'm all for edutainment games. Some of my most enjoyed games are edutainment stuff The graphics are retro inspired--and really pack a solid wallop in their presentation. There are various powerups you can purchase with "coins" you earn in lessons. As well as customisations for the main character--and even sound track entries Though, I cannot help but feel like this game suffers from "first installment disease"--though, that is hardly a fair thing to actually say of the game. It has only been out for a couple months now and has gotten at least one update for what the game contains. As well as a mode where you can load a small amount of custom stuff into the game (I still have to look more fully into that stuff) I will be playing this a bit more, just because I do enjoy this sort of thing. My little caveats for this game really don't detract from its overall quality as a decent silly little activity that seems vaguely edutainment in nature I suppose my biggest issue is I just want so much more from this game. Which uh... how dare my steak be so juicy and my lobster so buttery! xD
This game takes me back to the old school floppy disk game we played in school where you zap letters like Galaga and later Typing of the dead. What's there to not like about typing as fast as you can to advance? This game keeps you engaged in their varied game modes from training, endurance (my favorite), story mode, etc, etc. For it's price, this game is worth picking up and something to play to kill time while also boosting your typing speed, hand/eye coordination with your keyboard, and challenging yourself trying to beat your words per minute record. I really look forward to seeing if there will be any new modes added later on in this game. There is user-created content support, which makes it replayable. So, if you want to improve your typing skills while having fun, this is the perfect type of game for you.
I only played for 34ish minutes and I must say I ADORE AND LOVE THIS GAME! IT'S SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME THAT Idk why they don't make more games like this. I love typing of the dead and texorcist and all that but this one for some reason just draws me in. We need to also appreciate and give the love because they added steam achievements which makes me really want to dive in deeper to this goodness. May add more to this review later as more content gets added. It'd be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dope if they decide to do like a coop beat em up mode or like some multiplayer related stuff. :)
OK SO I WAS RECENTLY LOOKING FOR SOME NEW TYPING GAMES AND CAME ACROSS THIS ,YES THIS IS THE BEST NEW TAKE ALONGSIDE NO OTHER, I SPEND MOST TIME IN ENDLESS BUT THE CONTENT THERE IN THE GAME SEEMS TO BE GREAT! IF THE DEVELOPER WOULD LIKE MY INPUT BEYOND THIS, YOULL HAVE TO CONTACT ME AS PEOPLE LIKE DIFFERENT THINGS IN THEIR TYPING GAMES AND MY IDEAS FOR THIS SHOULD BE CRITICIZED BY YOU THE DEVELOPER OF THE TITLE FIRST! AS OF NOW I SUGGEST THAT ALL WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A FRESH START ON THE TYPING SCENE TO BUY THIS GAME BECAUSE THERES ENOUGH HERE TO KEEP YOU BUSY PLUS IS YOU WANT ENDLESS IS ACTUALLY VERY VERY FUN IN MY EXPERIENCE! THINK OF IT THIS WAY YOU ARE SUPPORTING A DEVELOPER WHOS MAKING A GAME THAT HELPS EVERYONE WHO BUYS IT LEARN TO TYPE BETTER AND THERES A NICE LITTLE 3 PART EPISODIC {TYPE ) STORY, NOT THAT LONG THOUGH, BUT YOUR INVESTING IN LEARNING AND A COMPANY WHOS GIVING YOU THAT FOR ONLY 6 DOLLARS WITH TAX IN A NICE LITTLE EARLY ACCESS OF THIS GAME! SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR STOP READING THIS AND GO BUY TYPE AND LEARN WITH KEYS OF FURY TYPING ACTION NOW!!!!!!!!NOTE: AGAIN EARLY ACCESS AND MORE TO COME AS STATED BY DEVELOPER OF THE GAME!!!
This is such a fun game with so many modes. From racing dinos to beating up bad guys, the typing action is next to none. The best part is, my kids love it too!
If you're looking for a game that'll satisfy the overwhelming urge to type since grade school or the need to stretch typing fingers, then Keys of Fury: Typing Action might be down your alley. You will eat and breath typing. When you boot up the game, you will use your keyboard for EVERYTHING, no exception. The entire game is oozing with style from the pixel art to action and even the music. The animation is fluid and each key you press has impact, if you're a fast typer the animation can get a bit speedy. The music is nice on the ear and so far, it has a jazzy vibe. I was surprised the game tracks your wpm and accuracy, which is pretty cool and makes sense give the nature of the game. Overall, if you love typing or want to practice your skills then give Keys of Fury: Typing Action a go and mash on your keyboards!
A pixel art typing game with a retro kung-fu movie theme and a focus on accuracy - Keys of Fury is charming, full of heart, and feels just right. If you like typing games, you really shouldn't miss this one. If you're old enough or otherwise have reason to be familiar with DOS-era games, the minimalist yet beautifully rendered arty style and (most of the) music in this title will be a welcome familiarity (and the rest is a blast).
