Amazing typing action game and the pixel art evoke strong feelings of nostalgia. The music is also really true to the era as well. This is a great game for those looking to maybe increase their typing accuracy, but really it's just a fun time. Highly recommend for those that are fans of the genre.
Creative take on a typing game, helps refine your skills. As an educator in the real world, I downloaded this for my students in high school to play. I let them play this when they are done with their work they all like competing for the "class high score". The sound effects are great and matchup well with each keystroke! Also, the Steam Achievements are a plus for the hunters out there. A+ and look forward to future updates!

Honestly, I did't know what to expect. Hands down the most fun I have had on a new game in a long time. Simple, fun, and the music is just as fun to listen to. 10/10
Nice typing beat-em-up game. Feels good for people with typing background and that sound of old typewriter bell in this game brings nostalgia. Hope this game gets enough support to be turned into a 3d graphical upgarded beat-em-up.
Well implemented and stylish typing game. I learned a lot of new dinosaur names. Using the typing mechanic for navigating menus is an amazing idea.
Video Review TBD https://youtu.be/7wP6sZT-d18
All Type No Hype
First, credit where it is due. Keys of Fury got me to finally pull out Dino Run 2 from my backlog. Even unfinished, and lacking the content of a traditional game, it worked as a community-driven experience, even if it wasn't my taste. This shows a clear understanding of how Keys of Fury knows how to motivate players and build engagement around an idea, which in this case was the typing races, which were really fun. Unfortunately, that same strength does not carry over to other modes. At its core, this is a very basic typing game. It is short, linear, and offers little challenge unless raw typing speed is the only metric being tested, words repeat rather quickly and it runs out of ideas in minutes.
Issues
My average WPM, when focused, sits around 85 to 90. In Keys of Fury, that drops to roughly 70 to 77. That loss is not due to difficulty, but presentation. The pixelated text, constant movement, and disorienting effects work against the act of typing itself. Words blink in and out, shift unexpectedly, and create visual noise that actively discourages speed. Ironically, typing faster results in harsher punishment, making slower, more cautious play the optimal strategy.
Conclusion
Aside from a nostalgic 90s rap track aimed squarely at Gen X grownups, very little of Keys of Fury stands out. There are far stronger typing-focused games available, including Cryptmaster, Typing of the Dead, Epistory, and many others. With only 30 to 40 minutes of content, this feels closer to a free-to-play experience than a premium release, and it is priced too high for what it offers.
i didn't thought i'd like this game that much, but it actually turned out to be very well made - focusing the most on improving the accuracy of typing rather than just speading up typing non-sense. i enjoyed the music too. waiting for chapter 4 :))
I like the music. I like the vocabulary. Could use more explanation about how to use coins and what the fury mode is. it's just plain fun.
I wish typing on my keyboard punched people in real life as satisfyingly as this does. A little on the short end, but glad to hear there's more coming.
