Keys of Fury: Typing Action

Very badly designed typing "game" that will pose challenge only to a 4 limb amputee going through delirium tremens, and even then he still has serious chances to beat it. It is very slow and you have to actively self sabotage by intentionally pressing the wrong letter in order to lose. The game does nothing to be challenging, other than an annoyance based section where the selection of strange words is constantly shifting in and out of invisibility. There is a sprint race level in the game and it is scripted in such a way that you are much more likely to win by typing very slowly one letter at a time (like a letter per 2-3 seconds) than an entire word. Unengaging, uninteresting and unfun. The developer claims to have worked 8 years on this crap. It is extremely unlikely and the word "work" is being strongly misused. No thought has been put into this game. As of now the game has 7 positive reviews, most likely by the developers friends or even bought reviews. Actually in one of the game's levels, there is an amateur rap track playing, according to this reviewer https://steamcommunity.com/id/demoncrusher21/recommended/1546690/ it's a "nerdcore" rapper. So it wouldn't surprise me that the positive-reviewers of this game are these "nerdcore" fellows, who probably also find the game genuinely challenging, because of how much time they've spent engaging with this "nerdcore" branch of music (so there is a target audience); So the theoretical 4 limb amputee going through extreme alcohol withdrawal is on the same skill level (or higher than) as the "nerdcore" bunch are, which may or may not prove the negative influences of certain types of music on a human being.

great game. can be played silently in public library. helped me clear the bank exam in one day.

Typing of the Dead, Kung Fu style. What's not to like!

I suck at typing and still had fun. The nature of the game will make you a better typist and there are a handful of different modes to keep you around. Every time you die in storymode (which I did a lot of) there's an encouraging message to keep going. Money you earn from any mode can be spent on upgrades for story. Good music overall but some specific ones are straight bangers. Only criticism I have is sometimes you make a mistake but it won't count as one (e.g. - uppercase letters and spaces). Not sure if its intended or a bug but I think that being more strict would help with learning for the bad typists and difficulty for the good typists. Great game for 5 dollars.

well I wouldn't say it's bad, but I completed story mode in less than 30 minutes?? very cool game, but meh in length...

i feel like there should be a reward for high wpm. the story is interesting but its not finished. game is $5 so being unfinished is forgivable, but i hope to see more improvements over time. achievements are a must and this game currently doesnt have any. has potential and was fun, but as a fast typer i beat it very quickly.

Amazing typing action game and the pixel art evoke strong feelings of nostalgia. The music is also really true to the era as well. This is a great game for those looking to maybe increase their typing accuracy, but really it's just a fun time. Highly recommend for those that are fans of the genre.
