Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've written this review so many times since my love for this game series is just too strong. There's so much to love about these games. After revisiting it many times throughout the years, the original still retains it's spark when playing it the first time. From the distinctly quirky art style, to the uniquely innovative concept of rolling anything and everything in your path. To the off kilter humor of The King of All Cosmos and the adorable design of itty bitty Prince. And of course, not forgetting to mention the iconic soundtrack. Like any game however, there are always flaws. Before you boot the game up, make sure you turn your headphone volume down. The game's volume automatically launches incredibly loud and can jump scare you. Another problem are the controls. They feel quite clunky, and can be difficult to maneuver the Katamari around the map. Despite the flaws, this game is still an absolute joy to play. I highly recommend playing it with a controller. This game is a playable work of art that everyone of all ages should try experiencing at least once in their lives.

I'm not sure what it is, but something about the way this tickles my nostalgia-brain makes me teary-eyed whenever I play a few levels. It makes it hard to go through, but in a good way :). I first played it during bad pandemic times, that probably has something to do with it. Also the soundtrack is one of my favorites in any game (Lonely Rolling Star 🥹🥹🥹🥹). Either way, it's a really fun and cozy game that is best played in short bursts! Replayablility exists in that old arcadey fashion where you just want to beat your old scores and unlock all the random little collectibles + object glossary.
Very fun game, but the outdated saving system is terrible in 2025.
