I absolutely love this game. It gives hints, but the joy is in the discovery. The more you unlock the more the complexitiy of the world grows. There is a rather steep learning curve, but this game is beautiful. I appriciate that there is cobat, but that its mostly hands off if I choose. I often play at night one handed with my baby sleeping in my arms. The diversity and discovery of slowly unlocking the world keeps me coming back. I enjoy most that I am challenged. I don't win every game, but I learn from every game. Bravo!
+ dev still active as of this post + unique aesthetic ~ short/chill games (20-40 minutes each) - ok mechanics. Braves' can self automate but are not the brightest (e.g. multiple Braves might fetch the same single resource needed to complete a building). When I accept trade routes sometimes Braves will send resources, sometimes they wont. - middling UI: no world map, no contextual right click (right click only to move unit(s), must use shift or ctrl to change order type such as chopping tree), no "attack all" command. - lack of good wiki; e.g. i don't know how to tame animals and i don't know if it's because of lack of tech or that I need to manually give them a unit of food or something.
Could have been real good, but the Developer took the money and ran instead of fixing the bugs. And there are a LOT of real bad bugs right now, it's in a bad state.
I love the style of the game, but the gameplay gets somewhat repetitive and boring after a while. There are also too many gamebreaking bugs such as the softlock in the title screen if you use "wasd" and the controllable NPCs not pathfinding correctly. I hope these bugs are addressed in the future since there is still great potential for this game
I feel like Sunraku the main protagonist of the Shangri-La Frontier the Trash Game Hunter. apparently there was an update which ruined every thing. with no tutorial i as to stubborn to give up.
Genuinely a delightful game. Beautiful in its own special way and a joy to play.
il est trés bien
更新後。 開3局全都出bug沒一局完成。
i wanna love this game, it got all the good parts, but its so buggy, and its different bugs every round. i lost 7 games in a row to bugs, and its the same everytime i wanna give the game another chance. bugs: mostly workers not responding or glitching or getting stuck, but also buildings not being worked on and more
