There, you must cause maximum chaos by land, sea and air to shift the balance of power. With the unique grapple and parachute combo, BASE jump, hijack and create your own high-speed stunts. With 400 square miles of rugged terrain and hundreds of weapons and vehicles, Just Cause 2 defies gravity and belief.

Just Cause 2 is one of the best games in the series. This version of Just Cause 2 kind of sucks because it crashes when it just starts to get fun. I'm not smart enough to bug fix it, I'm sure there's some kind of solution. You definitely need to turn bokeh of, but there's something else that seems to be related number of things exploding that causes my game to crash. I absolutely love this game. You don't get Just Cause 3 without this game, and Just Cause 3 is the best in the series. Also, remember how this game had the demo where you could play longer if you got headshots? Man gaming was great back in the day...
It is one of those games that were made just for players to have fun. It is creative, unapologetic and fun in best possible way.
great game
a bit better than first, but.. + much better graphics + spawns are a bit tamed compared to the first game + destructible environment and chaos is fun - still a horde shooter that spawns infinite enemies once anyone notices you or you try to do anything - during scripted events, idiot npcs just rush enemies, most often dying than not, often ignoring enemies spawning around. bam, mission failed, try again - while being a horde shooter, ammo is gun specific and cant be reused for other guns from similar class - aiming is very grainy, but that might be from first person mod if you like that kind of games, sure, go for it. if you like to use tactics or intelligent approach to missions, forget it. not recommended.
you're probably only going to buy this if you grew up with this game in the 360/PS3 Era. If not, you'd probably look towards the newer installments. If you've played the newer games and really enjoyed them, curious about the legacy of the series, keep in mind that some things aren't going to be as fluid and modern as those games, so there'll have to be a level of patience at times - for the graphics, and some mechanics. It's still a Just Cause game, however, so you'll most likely have fun.
